You don't have to quit freestyle or any cardio workout to gain weight. You need to eat the proper carbs and proteins to gain weight. You should eat as much of this as possible. This doesn't mean junk food. Lots of meats and complex carbs. Your freestyle and any other cardio will actually help you gain some muscle as well.

Other things, how long have you been working out? You have probably replaced some fat with muscle that has kept you the same weight. You also need to make sure that you are working out properly. Having a lifting coach would be the best possible thing, but there are also some decent instructional videos online.

Any make body transformation takes alot of time. Patience and discipline are the most important things. Keep freestyling and add the proper diet and weight training.

Consume 2700 Calouries a day should help you put on weight super fast even if you're freestyling a 3 times a week.

You do realize that the average adult male's calorie intake is supposed to be around 2500 without exercise. If he is exercising in any way at all, he'll lose weight like crazy, and he will not be taking in enough calories to put on muscle. Unless he is very very small, he should be taking in a minimum of 3000 calories daily of proper carbs and proteins.

He's not the average adult male. He is only 50kgs(something like 110lbs). My advice will work for him until he reaches a much higher weight.
Re-read the first post.

He's 5'8''. That is not that small. He is just super skinny. This probably means he has a super fast metabolism to start with, so eating your recommended total would only work if he cut his cardio down. He needs to be taking in at least 3000 calories daily for the energy and nutrients he'll need to put on muscle. 3000 really isn't that much. Someone like this needs a surplus of calories. You can easily burn over 1000 calories from exercise. To make up for this much exercise, you must take in calories. An average sized adult male could easily take in 3500-4000 calories daily to compensate for their high activity rate.  Michael Phelps was reported at one time to be eating 12000 calories daily when training for the olympics.

His maintenance calorie intake is around 1700kcal. If he's lifting it's unlikely he can freestyle long enough to use up 1000kcal so I think the most he will need for quite some time is 3000, 2700 is better to keep control of your fat gain. The transfer for him will be better, it's going to be super difficult to eat 4000kcal after eating so little for so long.
You keep saying average size male, he is NOT anywhere near that.

Anyway, he doesn't seem to be responding. I don't think he's done any of it.

It's not 'crazy' if you're burning it all away.
To maintain you eat 1500 calories, with freestyle probably 2500, depends on how long you freestyle a day. 2500 calories example= 200g packet of chips, large twister combo, cereal with banana and an apple. You'll never put on weight like that. Let's go to the extreme and say you burn 3000 calories a day. You need to eat 3500 a day to see any considerable weight gain.
At the end of the week you should gain 0.5kg. If not, you are burning more than you're eating or not counting correctly, so up the calorie intake by another 500.
I'm assuming you freestyle 10 hours a week.

I'm not expert in these things but it also happened to me before freestyle, well I normally freestyle like 5-6 hours maximum when there's no exams/stuyding etcs, about the 2500 calories, I eat much more than that, (pretty hard to say what I eat because of the arabic food which almost doesn't have a name in english) I always try to eat until I get full, but I dont see any changes, but nevermind anyways, I think I have to gain muscles in order to get fat.

Your stomach is small then and you can't eat more than that unless you're using the energy in which I said what to do if you eat too much. What foods do you eat, I might know them. If not, tell me what's in it? How many times a day do you eat til you're full? Try eating 30 minutes after you've eaten the most you can eat to keep your stomach expanded. It will take you a few weeks before you get used to eating more than you burn. Also water. Drink lots of it.

Would you say this is a lot?
2-3 Eggs, 2 Sandwiches of tuna, Quarter chicken, 3 Carrots, 3 Cucumbers, 1 Banana, 1 Apple, small bowl of Pasta, Cottage cheese, Regular sized hamburger.
Everything self made.

SPOILER: It's around 2000 Calories, the amount the average(no exercise, 9-5 job) person is meant to consume.

Ahhhh, I get your point, I have to get used to gain calories more than to burn them right? I'll try to keep eating continuously (I mean to eat something every hour/30 minutes), for example today I've eaten: a big arabic pumpkin with rice in it,  half an apple, a banana, drank like 2 normal cups of tea, a snack, 1 cucumber, half bread with yogurt in it (thats its name right?), and now im going to eat 2-3 meduim bowls of soup which includes: carrots, potatoes, broccoli, pasta. And I *may* eat more, is that enough for example? or should I eat more?
