If you want to get stronger by using Press-ups, put a backpack (with stuff in it) on your back,.

In the beginning yes it will if you can't do more than perhaps 15 in one go but when you are at the point where you can do 200 in one go it will NOT give you any strenght gains and I guarantee this. Strenght is never gained by doing 200 of something or anything.
Fx blesses himself before a patw combo, Tiernan blesses himself before a neck to sole transition.... but hey thats next generation

my hapkido grandmaster does 200 pressups and situps every morning when he wakes up.  he's strong as an ox and crushes limestones like it's nothing.

isnt crushing limestones more about energy and confidence? u are know it better then me but I thought it was more about that.

If he now is so strong I think he does more stuff than just pressups and and situps.....

Wow them legs are unreal. He would be the greatest soccer player, scoring 90 percent of his goals from a goal kick.
