True, but not even near what you get payed usually (correct me if I'm wrong). Some guys were performing every day for a week.

Redbull paied for me and one more to go and have 4 great days in NY.
I didnt need to bring a ball. I asked for the lp to promote myself. I asked for halftime performance. Redbull said no, because of strickt rules with the grass...   

And someone's gonna do the same for whoever wins this, they're gonna get a free trip to Sweden.

I agree 100% with Azun , this is a way of abusing freestylers and its not good for the scene . Freestylers are athletes that should be paid for their jobs  !!! And dont make a free job sound like a prize.

I think you guy's are old enough to know this now.

The competition is for 11-20 year old football talents, not for professionals. It's a "vacation" you win, not to perform. Just relax in the swedish summer! if you are a superskilled guy/girl see it as a way to show your skills to others and to experience Gothenburg and the Gothia Cup tournament in Sweden.

Famous soccer players who have played in Gothia Cup as teens are: Xabi Alonso (Liverpool FC) from Spain, Andrea Pirlo (A.C. 500dollars is nothing in sweden, but in most part of the world: its alot...
This kind of shit will make it impossible for guys like palle and Daniel to stay professional...
Do we want freestyle to just be for kids and students?

$500 dollar to me is a lot. When you're in high school the best job you can get is some shitty minimum wage job that pays like $7.25hr.
Truth be told I would do any show for $500, hell I'd do any show for almost any amount of money cause I still live at home with dad and I don't have any bills to pay.
I'll still market myself in a way to get the most outta any performance, but if companies were smarter they'd already know everything I've stated above and could make cutbacks on what they pay.

At the end of the day I don't care if I put someone else out of a job because I did it for cheaper, I only care that I'm happy with whats in my pocket.

OMG! r u kidding 7.25 per hour!!! u r screwing it up for the other guys there! Samuel you are not a mcdonald waitress... u r an "artist". Try be clever showing yourself more pro... in Ecuador my first show was when i was in the last year of hi-school and they paid me $300 plus plane tickets (for a 15 mins LP)! o.O
I'm completely sure you can ask more money, and if they want to pay you "for hours" just say no... this is bad for the other freestylers as Azun said... try to ask Angelo for advise or Alex

you sound like you have achieved so much in freestyle, that your name itself became a brand and you are marketing it now
if you do a $100 show at chicago fire home game - and you put on fb profile to make all your friends know about it - that doesn't put you in the same category as palle, daniel, azun who make a living out of freestyle

question is - why are you telling that to azun? is that supposed to make him scared - that you'll be taking all the jobs for low payment - to put him and others out of the business..
