No, that's the end of that discussion. If you guys want to discuss what a failure is, make a thread :great:
I've had enough of every thread being completely off topic. Just once can we talk about the topic at hand?!

Typical argument

The argument from some liberals and some Muslims is that only 1% of Muslim women in Britain wear it, you shouldn't have the right to see everyone's face if they don't want too, the women may feel insecure and treated racially inferior in this country and may want to hide her face

The argument from the more right, conservative is that they feel that women are being forced to wear them by men, they find it intimidating, crime etc

I understand where both argument's originate from, however i dont personally believe it should be banned if the women truely want's to wear it, if your'e getting intimidated and scared of a women's garment when there is war, famine, recessions in this world, you really need to man the fuck up
Some people will be protesting against the ban will actually be Facist, Islamaphobic , Racist etc however some wont

I think if your'e really going to get into this, i think atleast the burqa is only a peice of apparal, if your'e really going to ban this, what about the clothing nuns wear? jewish men being circumcised? strict jewish women having to shave their hair post marital engagement?

So if you're really going to ban the burqa, i guess those issues can be considered just as "Religiously controversial"

OMFG ROYAL FREAKINESS AHAHAHAHHAHAHHHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

THE QOUTE OF THE DECADE HAS TO BE "YOU CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MARRIED WOMEN AND PROSTITUES"

AHAHAH, so youre offended by the demonization of women in western culture? I can completely understand your point, HOWEVER

Wasnt it you that regulary updated the "hot babes" thread? ahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahhahah the sheer hypocritical view is making me cry in laughter

Im a muslim and i dont like the burqa (I dont feel comfortable with people wearing them around me)
In Islam wearing burqa isnt a must for women. The must is hijab which is covering all a womens body except her face and hands(even though not all muslims women wear it )

I think everyone has the right to wear whatever they want, if u dont like their style of clothes no one forced u to be best friends with them
and btw its not common to find women wearing burqa over here

ban the bikini day.
Are you gay? would you have woman go around in over-sized cardigans instead???
i think you can not be gay and muslim
but good point hahaha - i like hot women wearing bikini and i don't think there are attractive muslim women - thats why they wear those bigass cardigans cause they have nothing to show - ok - this is just trolling now  relax my muslim friends

my point muslims can do whatever they want in their countries - however once they come to europe/america - they should adjust to western culture and life-style or ofc they can preserve their traditions as long as they don't hurt others (e.g. not throwing stones at a woman wearing bikini, not wearing burqas on a plane, not trolling americans by constructing a mosque next to ground zero, not eating kids, having sex with goats etc)

Is that what u really think about Islam?
Please dont post information ur not aware about because obviously you have no clue what is islam

Also you think that we are still in the medieval times ,come here and see how medieval we are
and u think kicking 7-8 million people from france is a good idea?

No need for the aggressive attitude :)

No man, it's because of the security risk(I'm not implying anything with that) and the double standards.

am I on the hot babes thread now?
I was a 14/15 then and I was wanker. Whatever religion you're from you'll get wankers.  :embarrassed:
my actions that go against my religion doesn't make my religion wrong but makes me wrong.

but it's true now, you cannot tell the difference between normal women and prostitutes anymore. or it's harder now at least.
just look at all the celebrities now or the women walking in the malls. too many ppl whoring around their bodies and now it has become the norm.

for the ppl that think Islam is a religion for ancient ppl, please think again. We're not against any innovation when it comes to technology or other stuff not related to religion, but like every society there are rules. We believe the rules set in Islam will help the community as a whole grow. Just like you wouldn't allow a totally naked woman on the streets (now you would)

anyways, do you ppl really believe that the more you uncover a woman the more modern you are? what I was implying in one of my previous posts was that the ppl before the Prophet became a Prophet were also naked and approved art of women etc...
Is covering up a woman really causing society to go backwards?

But like I said the other countries have the right to apply their own rules because the Muslims don't have power over them. Although I really don't see how banning the burqah will reinforce the security. As I said even male officers have the right to check the women when deemed necessary and it is allowed for those of the opinion that niqab is a must that you can uncover your face.
Banning the burqah means that those ppl will have to migrate because they feel that they will be sinning.

Just like with Christianity and most other religions, strong believers are told to influence non-believers and almost force their religion on others.

I really hate that about religious people.  You would think the book would say something about respecting those of other religions/non-believers and minding your own fockin business.

If people don't believe and your religion dies, then so be it.  Don't force yourself on others and quit looking down upon those that don't think like you.  Everyone has different values, which is why peopl should STFU about religion and keep it to themselves.

If I recall correctly most books have exact contrary messages, meaning you are obliged to try convert others into it. Not sure about the others but Islam has some very lovely messages about those believing in a different religion and even nicer messages about those who don't believe in any holy Spaghetti-monster floating in the sky.

That's good, but I hear the bible says part of being a good Christian is spreading word about the religion to all others.

I know for Islam, you are supposed to defend your religion if it's threatened. Of course everyone has their own interpretation of threat to your religion and how to defend it. This is the reasoning terrorist use to attack the western world. They argue the western world is destroying their religion and they are merely doing what the Quran is asking them to do; defend your religion. Most of this is viewed as BS by most Muslims though. No sane Muslim would think their God would want them to interpret things in such a way.

oli and adi, you are heavily misinformed.
Islam tells us to show good character and this might bring those with a wide independent thinking to the circle of islam. It doesnt tell us to go banging on others doors, which unfortunately happens (same with other religions and political movements). Let me use the freestyle analogy.
You cant make others do freestyle. The best thing you can do is improve yourself which stands out way more than a million words speech(tips) or forcing people.
the same with religion.
its true people do it wrong. but people are wrong about other things too.
and adi, you are heavily brainwashed man. If you lived half a century back you would be against vitnamese/ russians etc. you cant help that you chose to listen to news rather than having an independent thinking mind.
Whatever religion, race, good or evil, most important thing is to have an independent mind. the best guide :)
The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.
