Oh my god, he had a good game in the FA Cup.

Ronaldo would say that Rooney brings the best out of him because they are friends. Not because Rooney really brings the best out of him. It is obvious that Ronaldo brings the best out of himself and the rest of the team, because quite frankly without Ronaldo, United would be further behind Arsenal.

Let's see. Alex Fergie is United's manager. Capello is England's manager. So OF COURSE they are going to say Rooney is the best. It is just as biased as me being an Arsenal fan and saying he isn't. Make sense?

I've never been a cocaine addict, in fact never done any sort of drug, so I would proabably rate my opinon over someone who has and still does. Would you take advice from a drug addict or a sober person?

Some of you obviously don't watch any real football games... you just talk about what you "assume" is going on.

Stop your posts right now if that's you.

Oh, and please keep Klose out of this. He's not the player Rooney is. Saying the Toni-Klose combination is better than Rooney-Ronaldo is sad.

Not saying you necessarily, but after reading some posts you can tell that some members arguing against Rooney have maybe seen him play twice in the past year. What kind of arguement do you have if you haven't even seen the player play?

thank you.... see i am not arguing that rooney is better then certain players.... and there are players i like better then him
for example.... Henry, Messi,Gerrard, Drogba,Fabregas,Ronaldinho, Kaka the list goes on

and elite..the thing is Fergie bought rooney, and i never said anything about rooney being the best.... capello could of dropped rooney like he did others but he didnt because rooney is a very good player... one of few match winners england actually have.... but looks like you have your opinion and i have mine...atleast you can put up a real reason for disliking him unlike others....

It's not that I dislike Rooney; honestly in my mind I havn't seen him produce world class form as of yet. Ok, I'll give you that he is a match winner for England, because to be honest England doesn't have much cohesion right now, and havn't for a few years.

Yes, Pele and Maradona like to chime in bullshit from time to time and everyone loves to listen. I hate listening to what they have to say. Their day is over, they should be happy to be the best 2 of all time.

to be fair though bayern have played 6 games less than united. but i havnt doubted rooney and saying hes shit must be coming from a person who doesnt watch many united games.

I actually watch more Premier league than the other leagues because every single game is broadcast LIVE on cable here even the ones that are on at the same time. I always see Rooney play and he is not even in the top 10 strikers in the world right now. I don't know what those who are make it seem he is top 3 are watching.
