Is better to freestyle everyday, or taking sometimes a break?
It's a complicated thing. Practice is how you get good but if you don't take rest you'll not improve that much. Practice every day, you rest when you don't freestyle.

When you practice you're "breaking" your muscles. When you rest they grow back but put on some extra. The resting is the reason you grow so a guy who practice all day might not be better than one that practices 3 hours.
Yeah, my cousin plays handball and he  has a rest two days every week, but I don't know if it is the same with freestyle :dontknow:

why not?? what august said is completly correct...... but it depends in wich intensiti and lenght you are practising....

Its not the same to train 3 hors a day with a lot of intensity than 20 minutes a day with less intensity.... In case of your cousin he sure trains with intensity and he didnt grow up completly yet...that is why you take reast's....
my uncle started going to the gym when he was 12-13 years old and he went there to push his muscles to the limit and went 5days a week 3 hours a day (was part of the training he need to do for soccer, sport in wich he became pro).... but the problem is that he is now only 1.60  meters high, and he could have grown to 1.80 - 1.85 like his brother.....

Oh please. There is absolutely no scientific evidence that weightlifting in any way makes you grow less. It's a myth untill proven otherwise.
Fx blesses himself before a patw combo, Tiernan blesses himself before a neck to sole transition.... but hey thats next generation
I was going to be there...but now I'm not going to be there

thats only if your concerned about building strength and stamina... most aspects of freestyle are skill related components, so your mind needs to adjust and adapt to the new skills you are learning such as balance, coordination etc...

so doing 20 plus combos and 30 plus atws doesnt involve stamina?

it does, that is why i said "only if your concerned about building strength and stamina"... so you can still freestyle all day long if you want to work on other areas of your freestyle such as stall tricks... but if you want to improve your fitness thats a different story... just making sure people understand the difference between the two =)

Actually your both right, lifting weights only stunts your growth if you are not fairly developed like pre teen I suppose it varies between people. But Lifting weights doesn't stunt your growth when your mature enough to do them, its more likely to develop your growth and muscle mass through a proper and smart training regime of course. I'd say most users here would benefit from lifting weights instead of avoiding them.

exactly man!! that was I was sayaing.... my uncle was 12 years old when he started.... tht means not enough mature....
Im 15,  im only 167 cm....and I can still grow 10-15 cm more.... that is why alot of people (experienced) tell me to not push my strenght to the limit while im in the gym and + the expirence of my uncle, I decided to follow that rule.... but ive got friends of my same age who are like 180 - 185 and they can lift whatever they want... no matter how much they are pushiing their muscles to the limit, cuz they have almost reached their completly maturation....
