get physical (but don't foul lol)

there's a time and place for that too

oh yea the professional fouls....i understand why that's useful but i never really liked it personally.  i just think it's like cheating.

if you're on the receiving end, it's frustrating, but they aren't going to go away.  it's just one of those little nuances of the game

it doesn't have to be a professional foul though.  a hard knock can set the tempo for the rest of the game.  it throws people off

I am actually playing cetre mid for my school squad, because I played a good game there in our second game so now thats where our coach likes me...but I'm really a winger, although some coaches seem to think they can play me at strike

i'd embrace it.  you'll be playing a superior postion

what if your not so fast and want to be stricker, i have pretty good skill and great control, any tips

that's not a necessary prerequesite for being a striker

just play quickly.  you can be slow and not miss a beat.  the ability to play quickly is what separates an elite player from an average one

e.g. teddy sheringham, dennis bergkamp

You gotta be cold blooded in front of goal keep your composure and finish its too easy. Alot of quality players do the hard stuff and find it hard to score in the end because they lack that instinct.

Are you big? If you are, you could be a target man.

i have very good stamina but my speed compared to other is not so good.

i doubt i have any compuser, i just really snatch at chances.

i'm not really that hogging person, i would prefer to assist then score

i think i might stay as a defender

When I overlp a forward, and he dribbles into me, how do I keep the play spread out (not bunched up) without taking myself out of the play? Some of the players on my school team don't release the ball early  :bang:

as an experienced midfielder i want to say that one of the most important things for a midfielder is having stamina. especially at the end of a match it can bring you the win because you are still able to defend and attack, while your direct opponent is just following making as few metres as possible

haha season is over and we sucked  :cursing:

@ Sule: we should make a rule about not stating the obvious. 'Cause that was definitely stating the obvious.

so new rule: no stating the obvious

the conclusions that we can draw from this new rule are: stating the obvious is frowned upon and therefore bad

Furthermore, when the obvious is stated, it transgresses with the rule.

When this rule is broken, you have stated the obvious.

And I have definitely not stated the obvious even once throughout this entire post
