as an experienced midfielder i want to say that one of the most important things for a midfielder is having stamina. especially at the end of a match it can bring you the win because you are still able to defend and attack, while your direct opponent is just following making as few metres as possible

man that is soo true

we had a friendly and i was a defender at the 75 minute mark i was out

couldn't take another step

no need to double post we get your point,

maybe raise the topic to your coach  :dontknow:
haha season is over and we sucked  :cursing:

@ Sule: we should make a rule about not stating the obvious. 'Cause that was definitely stating the obvious.

so new rule: no stating the obvious

the conclusions that we can draw from this new rule are: stating the obvious is frowned upon and therefore bad

Furthermore, when the obvious is stated, it transgresses with the rule.

When this rule is broken, you have stated the obvious.

And I have definitely not stated the obvious even once throughout this entire post

at elast you made me laugh

that mean you REALLY need to work on your conditioning.

When I overlp a forward, and he dribbles into me, how do I keep the play spread out (not bunched up) without taking myself out of the play? Some of the players on my school team don't release the ball early  :bang:
Yell at them! :cursing:

As mentioned before, you may ask your coach to talk to the team about the issue so that everyone's on the same page.

If that doesn't work, go to the individual players and tell them what you think. Explain yourself and tell them how you can play better. Even better, get the team together after a practice, or just before, and mention the problem to them. Tell them that everyone is part of the problem, and that the problem can be fixed by everyone trying to spread out to make the most use of the pitch. Your coach should have some training sessions or tips for this as well. It's not easy opening up the field, but it is possible if everyone knows their roles and is disciplined enough to play them accordingly.

plus they had a really fast stricker so i basically had to sprint after him with every attack.

i almost died man

it's interesting how different kinds of stresses affect the body

anyway, start of the season?  you'll be fine in a few games.  just make sure to take care of your body

beep test scores vary because different gyms have different lengths. All I know is that no mater what gym I am in, I break 100 no problem

I think a better indicator would be his mile time
