i think you should get out first since you take some water with you when you step out of the bath, so that could be like some seconds faster  :thumbsup:

maybe if ur still in it, you displace the water, raising it water level higher, so it disappears faster cos of more weight on it. so stay in it? thats probably wrong lol

the pressure is cosistent due to the change in water level.  now if you were to get into the tub and prevent the water level from rising...

Eventhough it's a small change, you do raise the height of the water level compared to not being there, and thus you also raise the pressure on the bottom and the water will therefore pour out some faster. The pressure that the water pulls of does only depend of the height. James was on to it.

When we're still figuring water out, here's another one for you to find out.

There's a bucket, which is almost filled with water placed on a scales. A person decides to put his finger in the water and does it so that half his finger rests in the water. Will the weight change on the scales or not?

i say... yes. his finger displaces some water so its higher so theres more pressure so it weighs more.

no it doesn't. the mass of the water does not change. compair with you standing on a scale. if you are measuring your weight and someone is squeezing you (so the pressure in you increases) you won't weight more either.
if i'm wrong you should ask your physics teacher
