Sure it helps a lot, but it's just part of it. I don't think it's enough to take away from being a top team. Having home-advantage isn't going to win you the World Cup alone. The quality of your side is still more important.

Robinho's job isn't to deliver into the box, although he plays wide. Robinho plays the same role as Cristiano Ronaldo. His job is to beat people and lay it off, get fouled, or score. Ashley Young has a better deliver into the box than Ronaldo as well, doesn't mean much.
