There was like what. 2 Threads about AC Milan last year. Now every thread ones that are about other things you get people mentioning United. It's an obsessed few.

oh, those few.  well, they do follow manchester united.  i don't see why they wouldn't mention them

many of the threads are specific to ronaldo anyway.  100m + largest club in the world + champions league champions = big news

its unfair that a managers job can depend on a performance by his players, or the bad decisions of the board of directors. but over the course of the season the manager will take his toll, for better or worse. as long as people dont sack him too fast, he will proove his metal (or not).

Melbourne, believe it or not Manchester United have the biggest fan base, and it's almost certain there will be talk about them on a soccer forum. I'm sure you would have boasted if Chelsea won the Champion's League, it's almost natural.
