yeh that is what i mean. Valencia used the possession badly and defended badly too. But it was unforced errors. Chelsea were efficient but it was not a rape. Chelsea were lucky they had drogba yesterday or it would have been 0-0.

The scoreline was a rape but not the match.
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

Did you really watch the game?
I didn't say the game was rape because of the scoreline, but for the game itself. Valencia kept bouncing the ball in the middle of the field. Whenever they tried, TRIED, to attack through middle, they got suffocated by Chelseas core. When they tried through wings, every centering found Terry's or someone else head. They sucked attacking. The kick to the post they got was a bit lucky long pass... Then the long shot which was good but Cech saved it. Those are only things Valencia got with their 70% of possession. It's just sad

When Valencia wasn't holding the ball, I was crying all the time on how shit Valencia defended. 1st goal. When your opponent is inside the box with ball, you just don't try to hop in front of the ball, you go for the ball with the risk to commit a foul. And the situation should have been cut off before Mata made the pass to Didier... 2nd goal... When I don't think there's no need to even discuss about that. 3rd goal was awful marking error from CD's... AGAIN...

Marko I was surprised on group G that APOEL went through, not on Zenit... I was thinking that Shakhtar/Porto and Zenit would go to KO

@ Palgi: i agree with everything u said actually. But you call it rape and i call it an efficient display  BOth chelsea and valencia are crap tbh.

SO many upsets! So many big teams out! :sign0065: The way the champs league is going this year i would not be surprised if some small team like apoel or basel go on to win the final!

But ajax got cheated out against madrid. 3 horrible referee mistakes to allow madrid's 1st goal and disallow 2 ajax goals.

forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

The Ajax vs Madrid game, as the Lyon vs Dinamo game, was a setup. Lyon needed a 6 goal difference, and the judge invalidate two goals Ajax scored. At least people believe in that.

BTW. Dinamo has the worst score ever in CL history. The directorate said they need to invest in future, and they're selling Kovačić, the Croatian football hope, and Vrsaljko too. They are young and talented, but all they care is the money. No respect for the club.

Dortmund got a little unlucky but also screwed themselves with too aggressive tactics.

I can't believe Ajax got knocked out.  What a shocking set of events. :(

Man City and Man U out... gotta love it!   :lol_hitting:

How good are they?  Any top teams after them?

What are Croatians saying about this embarassment?  They have done so poorly, it's unreal. :(
