Haven't post in the soccer forum months. Time to write something.
I didn't post the results from round 2 and 3, but I will write something else. :)

Group stage,  Match day 4, 1.11.2011.

BATE Borisov            v            A.C. Milan

Zenit                        v            Shakhtar Donetsk

APOEL                      v            Porto

Arsenal                    v            Marseille

Valencia                   v            Leverkusen

Genk                        v            Chelsea

Dortmunt                 v            Olympiacos

Victoria Plzen           v            FC Barcelona

Group stage, Match day 4, 2.11.2011.

Man. United             v            Otelul Galati

Benfica                     v            Basel

Bayern  Munich        v            Napoli

Villarreal                  v            Man. City

Inter                        v            Lille

Lyon                        v            Real Madrid

Ajax                        v            Dinamo Zagreb

Trabzonspor            v           CSKA Moskow

-------------------------------------------------------
So, any predictions? Adi?

Chelsea lost that game against Arsenal, they will win the game vs Genk for sure.
Dinamo screwed at Maksimir, home loss 0:2 against Ajax. But Dinamo always wins in Amsterdam, I hope this time they will get at least a point. Their CL games are sooo bad. 0:1 loss against Real, 2:0 loss against Lyon, and 0:2 loss against Ajax. It could easily be worse if there is no goalkeeper like Kelava.

I feel a bit stupid, I'm writing this shit, and nobody looks it.
Anyway, here are the results from yesterday:

BATE 1:1 Milan
Goals (Renan Bressan 55' (p) ; Ibrahimović 22')

Zenit 1:0 Shakhtar Donetsk
Goals (Lombaerts 45'+1)

APOEL 2:1 Porto
Goals (Ailton 42' (p), Manduca 90' ; Hulk 89' (p)

Arsenal 0:0 Marseille
Goals ( / ; / )

Valencia 3:1 Leverkusen
Goals (Jonas '1, Soldado 65', Rami 75' ; Kiessling 31')

Genk 1:1 Chelsea
Goals (Vossen 61' ; Ramires 26')

Dortmunt 1:0 Olympiacos
Goals (Grosskreutz 7' ; / )

Plzen 0:4 Barcelona
Goals ( / ; Messi 24'(p), 45'+2, 90'+2, Fabregas 72')
------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't watch any game, I don't watch football in the last time.

Messi had a great night, hattrick, but I don't like the result of BATE v Milan. Milan should get 3 points there. Unfortunately, they didn't.

Hey mate, thanks for posting!  Some are just a little lazy to respond.  Plus, I think it helps to start a new thread.  More people respond there.  I'm starting to get away from the stickies.

Anyways, Chelsea didn't win!  What the heck is going on with them man?!  I think it's the lack of talent in the middle of the park.  They don't have a playmaker and that's a problem.

Bayern vs Napoli in a little bit.  Should be a good one.  Madrid vs Lyon as well. :victory:

Nice to see someone read it.

Man. UTD 2:0 Otelul Galati
Goals (Valencia 8', Sarghi 88' (o.g.) ; /)

Benfica 1:1 Basel
Goals (Rodrigo 4' ; Huggel 64')

Bayern Munich 3:2 Napoli
Goals (Mario Gomez 17', 23', 42' ; Fernandez 45', 79')

Villarreal 0:3 Man. City
Goals (/ ; Y. Toure 30', 71', Balotelli 45'+3)

Inter 2:1 Lille
Goals (Samuel 18', Milito 65' ; De Melo 83')

Lyon 0:2 Real Madrid
Goals (Cristiano Ronaldo 24', 69' (p) )

Ajax 4:0 Dinamo Zagreb
Goals (Van der Wiel 20', Sulejmani 25', S. De Yong 65', Lodeiro 90'+2 ; /)

Trabzonspor 0:0 CSKA Moscow
Goals (/ ; /)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of goals last night. A huge loss for Dinamo. I didn't watch any of the games, I don't feel any need to watch it, but I saw the goals from the game in Amsterdam. Defence failed big time, they need to learn more.

A hattrick from Gomez, that was his night there. Also a nice free kick goal from C. Ronaldo. Manchester City was great too. An important victory for them.

Any comments on what happened last night?

Marko I read this thread as often as every other, I just don't usually post. :)
I watched part of the ManU match, seemed pretty dominant game for ManU. How were Bayern's, ManC's and Real's games as a game, not by score? :)

Bayern was top class last night in the first half.  Only better team than them right now is Barcelona.  You should've seen us posses the ball.  My brother watched and he's a die-hard Dortmund fan.  He certainly doesn't like Bayern, but even he admited that nobody besides Bayern possesses the ball that well.

Only dissappoinment was Schweinsteiger's injury.  He broke his collarbone and is out 6 weeks.  I don't know how we'll cope without our midfield engine. :(
