I think Beyond Football Summer video would be too rushed, and instead of making a not-so-great video soon, I think we should wait a little until the Winter, but this is only my opinion. But I do think that having a video is by far the most effective way of getting freestylers on the forum. But the video has to be created/released by a well known freestyler since getting views is MUCH easier that way. No offense but when Asker (?) released the Beyond Football christmas video, I doubt it got the same amount of recognition as the one from 09 by Sven. I mean great job Asker but I think having a well known freestyler release it/create it makes a much bigger impact.

Well imo its not about getting users to the site. I think it is about making th site intresting for people to stay and post here. At the moment there is almost no good freestyler posting here so why would people stay here? You need some big names here. Also a competition would be good but run more professional with also big names entering. These are the ideas i have but i dont really know how to realize them.

What if we did a "Throwback Freestyle Competition" where we invite all the top freestylers so send in their video.  I don't think it's realistic to create multiple rounds as most top freestylers won't bother sending multiple videos in.

We can invite Palle, Abbas Farrid, Skora and some of the other top freestylers who used to post on here before.  We can tell them about the motivations for this and we could give away a prize to a winner.  We can create some space on the forum and site to highlight these videos.  Anyone can enter and submit only one video.

It's just a matter of figuring out how to create the knock-out system to pick out the winner.  Maybe we can create seeds so Palle and the top freestylers would be ranked as #1 seeds.  Their videos would go against lower seeds and winners would go through.  We'd do this all the way until the final two.  I'm just not sure if it would get boring to vote in each round since people would have already seen the videos.

Any ideas on this?

By the way, thanks for the intros guys... I think I like the second one a little more since it has our logo and the URL.  We'd just need to make the first bit a little shorter and have the website info sit around longer (maybe bigger text as well).  Would be nice for it to read Freestyle Social Network and Forum underneath as well.

Can you please send the video file as well so we can make it available for everyone to download.
