I think they are, seeing as many would describe freestyle as 'the art of expressing yourself with a football' or something queer like that, and ground moves come under this category.
Good comment. I think you've changed my mind.

this is a stupid question... i would say... this thread just makes me sad, one of the parts i love more of freestyle are grounds, even if i dont practice it a lot as other styles, groundmoves was one of the things that introduce me in freestyle :(

I think yes, it's a part of freestyle, just that it's unpopular, and many people do it randomly, like only stepovers and shit.
True, panna and all shouldn't be considered in football freestyle.
Some groundmoves look totally awesome and not football-ish, more football freestylish.
Just my opinion.

And what's the problem in naming tricks in uppers? I don't get it.
Almost every trick has a name and saying just "rolls" is vague.
But yeah some combinations are kinda unnameable (some even in lowers I think, but everything can have a name if you want).

ground moves are 1/4 of freestyle football, for sure! ground moves in a game= street football...and yeah, there are a lot of tricks i can say here! alain overstap, ankle breaker, double twist, rakka, mo' combo...pfffffffff! a lot of people disrespect ground moves cause they don't practice and they don't have knowledge...they're ridicolous! in the past i used to practice air moves before ground but i always respected them as an important part of freestyle football, as i respect sitdwon and upper even if i never spent time trying to practice them.Ars said he doesn't think people can spend a lot of time doing just ground moves, this is not true...when I don't play (street football) i practice ground moves for a lot of hours. I am a freestyler (football), for sure! I try to do harder combos almost every day just like you.

:iagree:

Do you honestly do that?

Because lets face it. Groundmoves is deffo the easiest of all 4 styles. I basically never train! EVER! And i think I am a very decent groundmover if not a very good one. And i never ever practice.. maybe a couple times a month for like an hour but thats it? I barely play street soccer anymore -- no ones even remotely close to my level (that lives close to me), and its therefore hard to have any motivation to go play.

Thats what i dont understand --- if you practice many many hours.. why arent you better than me?  (logically you should be -- and maybe you are, just not my impression from your videos :D)
Keep it Street..

I don't think you got my point. Assuming that ankle breaker is similar to the basketball version of the move, you need to be against an opponent. If that's the case, then it's clearly a street football move.
