Let's have a poll.
http://www.youtube.com/user/LISdafreestyler
-Don't break combos.
-Don't use crossovers to save combos.
-If you're a new freestyler looking to improve, check the stickys in the help and advice section.
-Send me a personal message if you see spam.

i think touzani had a lot to do with groundmoves. if he had not put them in his videos they would just be called football dribbling maybe or street soccer stuff. freestylers dont know goundmove "tricks' or variation names, so my reply is no.
but they look very good when people like soufiane do them!
The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.

i think they are part of freestyle football. It has elements of football in it, but it does not come under the category of dribbling cos you cannot use them in matches, plus they look like a form of dance so that is the freestyle part.

but you cannot call yourself a freestyler if you can only do groundmoves e.g mike ballast, matthew gernaat and the likes of them.

lets count:
neckstall
headstall
sideheadstall
shoulder catch
atm
360
ss orbit
rolls
i am sure most freestylers know this.
but i dont know a sinlge name of a groundmove, if i do i cant recall it right now. i think its the same for others maybe :)

offcourse it is ...but its a small part and not as important as tricks in the air in my opinion. Its more an additional skill , just like a backflip for example or other show tricks

Since what time backflip or "other show tricks" are parts of freestyle football? It can be acrobatics or breakdance, but not freestyle football for me.. As for grounds - this is freestyle football, but just little and unpopular part. There are some panns masters, but i doubt there are some guys who spend few years on everyday prsctice just groundmoves without field and opponent..

If you mean groundmoves as solo groundmoves and not panna or tricks used in futsal matches, then I believe it's considered freestyle. It's like a mutual part between freestyle and street football unlike panna which is only part of street football.

The only freestyle is lower-air freestyle.

Seriously, I think having names in upper/sit/ground combos is kinda useless. I never say "I did aproll-rproll-rproll- etc." Blah blah blah. it's all dumb, I just say I did an upper combo. Easy as that. (my opinion of this has changed over time.)
I couldn't imagine naming a ground combo...
Sure grounds is freestyle, just don't throw a bunch of names at me, I'm already overloaded with these j9skatws and what not....

that's just because you have a very small brain with the capacity of a goldfish.

i personally can't think of an argument against why groundmoves arent fs, but to be honest i dont think they are. they are bloody boring to watch, they aren't gonna be much use in a show/battle and there aren't many with extensive knowledge of them. but who really cares? the basic point is majority of those who call themselves fsers dont train grounds...
