you are guys are both right
it depends on a person - some people understand only harsh treatment - some may be discouraged by that
Leha has changed
back then and now he was doing a lot for the good of russian freestyle
i know some people on bf disliked his attitude - - truth is his english is not that great and sometimes he would put his thoughts in a way they were not supposed to be - the language issue - is the biggest part of misunderstanding him sometimes

English barrier or not, people should still take his comments into consideration, this guy is a genius when it comes to lower training, he's only trying to help you improve... It may be about fun, but it gets pretty boring watching the same person do the same mistakes on the same trick over and over again. (like with me and aproll, I've expanded my uppers since then, thanks to you guys telling me it was getting boring.) (not sarcasm)

I would rather have someone say..
"gtfo and train your atw, style was shit" will piss me off, but your damn Sure I'm gonna get my ass outside and work harder on it.improvement wise.

Not the stereotypical "atw style was a bit off, try harder at it, other than that Good job!" - can someone find me motivation in that?
Bullshit. There's a reason why they don't do that in school or in any other educational department. Because it doesn't work well. It demotivates you most of the time.
Study psychology in year 11+12 and you'll understand why..or do some research.

Here's a comment from one of my videos, it motivated me to try and speed up my style:

grea vid! really enjoyable :) think you should try and speed your style up a bit cos its a bit flat footed but i love your alatw and ahmatw styleee

If he said, "Your style is shit, it's too slow" I would have ignored him. Positive feedback mixed with constructive critizism works best.

I took psychology  and sociology, it's the reason why coaches scream their asses off at their players. It won't work in an educational scenario, yelling at someone that they're stupid doesn't motivate them to do better.
But, if you fuck up on a play, and your coach calls you out on it, you should be motivated to try harder and save yourself the embarressment of messing up. FS is still a sport...
Imagine a coach yelling at his player "That was good but you shouldn't of fumbled it! Try harder and you'll get better soon!" - they won't say that
they will say
"Why the fuck did you fumble my ball? Did your team fumble the ball?! fuck no they didn't! run a god damn mile and if you fumble that fuckin ball again your ass will be runnin' all day" - motivation.
Negative feedback without reward has been proven to work the least. Positive feedback with reward has been proven to work best.(I forget the psychological terms for what I'm trying to explain, but that's the gist of it)
Negative feed back with reward can work, but he never gave the "reward".(until later on)
So his method of improving others wasn't done in the best way possible.

His tutorials are mind blowing, I know this is an old topic, but I've been improving faster in a week then I have the 2 months I spent trying lowers.
Ever since the "neglected basics video" I did, I got my atw record up from (3) too (10) in 4 days. My weak foot atws from (0) to (4). My htw record hasn't changed at all, but hatws when from (3) to (6.)

I've gotten a 9 touch combo w/o co's.
htatw both feet
and I'm extremely close to weak latw. (will upload attempt to vimeo if anyone is interested PM me.)

Leha is definitley a Russian genius, and deserves far more credit then he gets. A source translated a few of his tutorials for me, and they're by far the best anywhere.
Any beginner that gets a chance to read and use his tutorial will improve faster and enjoy lowers more.
BONER!

edit: listen to the sound on the second one, didn't touch the ground, didn't realize the cam was so close.

Should of made that clearer. I'm not dumb, you're terrible at emphasizing what point you're trying to make. :D
