jabarinho, you've lost the few marbles you had left man.  Marcelo and Coentrao the two best left backs in the world? :embarrassed:

Evra, Ashley Cole, and Lahm are miles better.  I can argue another 5-10 ahead of Marcelo and Coentrao as well.  Bayern was close to signing Coentrao and he wanted to come, but his team wanted 30 million euroes.  What a joke.  He'll stay in Portugal for the rest of his life if they expect that kind of money for him.

Lukaku looks like a great talent and freak of nature.  I really hope to see him in England soon.  I'm sure he can make the next big step.  Let's hope he can turn into the net Drogba.

Podolksi is not going to Dortmund.

Bayern has signed Neuer for around 15 million.

Bayern also signed Rafinha for their right back position.  Lahm will go back to being a left back.  I'm looking forward to the Lahm and Ribery left side again.  I think Rafinha will support Robben nicely on the right with his attacking game.  Should be deadly.

We are also close to signing Boateng from man City.  City wants 20 million for him though and we are prepared to only pay 12 million.  We will have a new defense... thanksfully!

Alex Sanches would be interesting at Barca.  I haven't seen him play much but I hear great things.

lol how fast you need to say pork and cheese for it to sound like portugese? :017: Hmmm...guess my tongue is just slow :embarrassed:

and yeh i will put evra alongside marcelo and coentrao as the three best LBs in the world, but not ahead of them.

Also, I am looking at recent form to judge the best LBs so ashley cole cannot be up there. Cole has dropped his level this year. His attacking instincts were curtailed by ancelotti this year and even though his defending was good he needs to attack more to be considered one of the best LBs. I should also mention how antonio valencia killed him in the BPL game recently  Also, i prefer lahm at RB because at LB he cuts inside too often.
And you say you coukd argue 5-10 other LBs  :undecided: ......never!!

Why does barca want alexis sanchez btw?! What about afellay, what about the guiseppis rossi deal, what about the cesc deal, what about pedro and jeffren, what about......etc etc
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

- Manchester United and Chelsea could sign Tottenham duo Gareth Bale and Luka Modric this summer - but only for a combined £75million, according to the Daily Mirror.
 :Woot_Emoticon:

- Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has flown to California to decide on a move to Manchester as both City and United try to sign him in a £30m deal.
I prefer Modric but sneijder's ok

- Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has agreed terms with Barcelona, but a transfer fee for the midfielder is yet to be agreed, according to Mundo Deportivo in Spain.
 :great:

- Tottenham are ready to offer Joe Cole a way out of Liverpool.
take cole and give man u bale. GREAT CHOICE.  :embarrassed:

- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could sell Manchester United target Samir Nasri this summer after claiming the France international wants more money than the club can offer.

- Liverpool are keen on signing Wigan winger Charles N'Zogbia as they fear they have lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Aston Villa's Ashley Young.
ashley young...?  :017:

- Rossi going to barca, almost a done deal. Reports claim that Bojan Krkic could be included in the deal, with the 20-year-old struggling to gain a starting place at the Catalan giants, and Oriol responded to speculation by stating that the young striker would be a great addition to Villarreal.
"He [Bojan] is a great footballer, the promise of Spanish football and we would welcome him with open arms," added the goalkeeper.

I think nasri just wants to leave that average team named arsenal. If he really wanted to stay he would not ask for so much money (I heard he wants the same salary as cesc )

And cesc wants to leave for the same reason. Not because he wants barca but because he wants trophies. Cesc, clichy and nasri all want to leave despite getting regular playing time.......and no star players want to go to arsenal either. Wenger must realise by now he is doing something wrong......right? :embarrassed:

Being chin deep in debt means you are likely to be chin deep in trophies. So Wenger should take a loan and buy some players. Look at manutd, barca and madrid. Arsenal always start every season hot and sweaty and playing well then tail off towards the end and in big games due to a small squad and a lack of experience.

You are crazy.  Mourinho would personally drive Marcelo to the airport if he could bring Evra in to replace him.

Ashley Cole was solid throughout the season.  Trust me, it wasn't his fault Chelsea was weak for a while.  It was the spine of their team rather than the wings.

You are making a mistake judging players on their short term form, especially the last few games as you talk about Valencia beating him.  Quality is about consistency, something Marcelo is just now getting around to.

Also, i prefer lahm at RB because at LB he cuts inside too often.

I've watched almost every Bayern game for the last 10 years.  I know what works for them.  Bayern was unstoppable with Ribery and Lahm on the left.  Lahm was good on the right side but not as effective as he was on the left.  The cutting inside helped his game a lot.  he distrurbed teams and opened up space for Ribery on the left as he cut in.   Teams could never stop his inside cut.  He was involved in far more goals on the left side than on the right, and his defese was just as good on the left.

Lahm, Maicon, Evra, Ashley Cole, Sergo Ramos, Daniel Alves, Sagna, Clichy, Glen Johnson, Cissokho, Leighton Baines.

I'm serious.

I really think he's the right player for their system.  They can slot him in at attacking left/right mid, or even the center.  He can score and setup play, and is already proven in the Premiership.  Man U doesn't mess around... they might not win the Champions League with this signing and they'll still be well behind Barca, but they should be a safe favorite for the Premiership title again.
