He's doing really well right now.  I still think it's funny how a player's value can change so much within a couple of months, hell even weeks.  He couldn't get on the pitch a few months ago to save his life, now he's banging them in every week.  Damn was LvG wrong about him. :embarrassed:

Serbia international Branislav Ivanovic has signed a new contract at Chelsea until 2016.

Sucks, I was hoping Bayern would have a chance to sign him on a free this summer. :rolleyes:

Spehar is a good player. Lots of talk in Croatia nowadays about our younger guys like Jajalo, Kovacic, Vrsaljko etcetc

TBH Id rather him not go to Bayern. Croats are always better at making a name for themselves at smaller clubs.

Remember this?  Real Madrid just snatched him up for 10 million due to his contract clause.  Shame for Dortmund to lose him for half his value.  Madrid keeps stealing all of Germany's talents for penies on the dollar. :rolleyes:

everyone thought that ozil, khedira and benzema would be benchwarmers as well but they are now regular starters and have displaced kaka, diarra and higuain who were fixed starters before......so u can never know for sure.
Besides, big clubs like madrid need healthy competition among players to keep them on their toes and a big squad because they play so many matches per year.
Also I hear madrid might get hamit altintop from bayern.......for free! :040: as he is out of contract. German clubs can never hold on to their players :rolleyes: which is strange because most of them are financially healthy.....i think :017:

What real needs is not another star player. They should focus more in their own academies.
Real has to much stars and individuals that want to make it on their own. Whats The point on having 18Players in the squad wich sucks money from The club when they could have half the player stars and do equal. With that i mean 2place, couse they sure aint gonna take 1st from Barca.

I think you are being too negative. When madrid were dominating in la liga and champions league in previous years did barca give up and say madrid's level is unattainable? Not at all. Madrid are not going to sit and watch barca win without putting up a fight.
Also, star players bring shirt sale revenue to the club and good global brand image. So your point about stars sucking money from the club is not true.
