trust me . its nothing. ive had those like 6 times this year. its because of overwork of the calves-too much training that is. It should go away in 2-3 days.

Just skip the training for like a week and rest, then it should feel much better.
If the problem remain you should visit a doctor or something, just for safety. This happens me like 2 times a year and It's nothing seriously.

So just chill for a while !

It's cause you worked it out too much, and you probably haven't worked it out that much in a while.

did you stretch it out before you ran...because its probably a bad muscle cramp, or maybe a mild tear...just rest it for a while and ice it, but KEEP ON STRETCHING IT OUT otherwise it will get really stiff and the same injury will happen again

You may be having extraordinary muscle growth in your calves. It happens to a lot of soccer players and the only real way of fixing it is surgery. I've had quite a few friends that got it done.

or maybe he should stretch a lot, and work consistently to improve his stretch
