Chelsea beat Man yoo!!! Title race game on!

What a strange game - Man U ran things in the first half, and completely gave away possession and ultimately the game in the 2nd half.  I was looking at Chelsea's midfield in the first half and couldn't believe how uncapable they were of moving the ball forward.  They couldn't get through Man U's midfield to save their lives.  The forwards barely got on the ball.  Maybe the reason the second half looked so much better for them is Drogba's entrance.  They could finally boot it to him and let him handle the defenders.

Fletcher was great in the first half but then dissappeared in the second.  Same goes with the rest of United's midfield.

Utd've lost to both Chelsea and Liverpool recently. Ferguson better steady the ship before Arsenal realizes that now would be a good time to catch up

Arsenal is too stupid to realize their chances.  They won't win, no way.  They keep throwing away every chance they have.

Anyone else getting a little bored with the Premier League?  It's getting predictable and the lack of significant transfers is making it a little boring.  I liked tuning in to new teams and not knowing what to expect.  Apart from Man City, all squads have been fairly untouched.  Liverpool is the one team that's a little exciting now with their new strikers.

Arsenal vs Tottenham did prove to be a good game yet again.  Arsenal are some epic chockers who can't hold a lead to save their lives.

The BPL is the most exciting league in the world and has the highest number quality players overall. But i admit it does get boring though. The gap between the top 5 teams and the rest is very large. The only exciting matches to watch are the head-to-head matches between the top 5 (manutd, chelsea, man city, arsenal and spurs). But that is how it is in every league......except Bundesliga ofc
But i dont know how u enjoy watching liverpool They are so defensive-minded and boring this season.

The top 4 teams in BPL, Serie A and La liga are always far ahead of the mid-table teams. But the mid-table teams in BPL seem to have more quality and are more exciting to watch than mid-table teams of Serie A, Bundesliga and La Liga.......in my estimation.
Bigger salaries play a huge roll in attracting quality players to the BPL teams.....and BPL teams have more money to spend on players in the transfer market because they are more open to foreign investment than other countries.

Just because the EPL is broadcasted  on TV more than any other league, thus exposing all their teams the most, doesnt mean that they are the best. If we really want to we can say that the best clubs from every league participate in the UCL . Then, the mid-table teams compete in the Europa League, where we can see that England hasnt performed well (albeit Fulham) in the last decade(including the UEFA Cup). Since 1985, only Liverpool have won the UEFA Cup in 00/01. Meanwhile, the rest of Europe has shared the spoils quite evenly.

Now, many point out that the Europa League is the bastard child of the CL, regardless, midtable teams from England don't have the best chance of breaking the top 4 so why dont they prove themselves in Euorpe. Maybe they can't...?

Besides, who are the midtable English teams? Aston Villa?Everton?Sunderland?Bolton?

maybe i am a bit biased considering i do watch the BPL more than other leagues. And yeh the mid-table BPL teams im talking about are the ones who regularly finish in the europa league places such as spurs, everton, villa etc.
I know they have not proven themselves in Europe but when i look at their player rosters i wonder why not, because they have so much quality Especially when you consider the dominance mid-table BPL teams have over other teams in the transfer market. They all seem to have players with big names......even the guys on the bench. While mid-table teams in other leagues have mostly homegrown players and a sprinkling of unknown foreign players.
In terms of overall quality its difficult to compare but there are certainly more star names in the BPL mid-table than any other league. This, for me, makes them more exciting to watch.

Just curious, How can you consider Liverpool boring and defensive minded this season since King Kenny took over? Most games they have been a joy to watch since the change. Also, to really mention there's a gap between the top five and the rest of the league leaving out Liverpool is really kind of silly since they are extremely close to Tottenaham. They were also basically just screwed over in the beginning by a dumb manager. The Prem this season has been extremely disappointing to me. There really hasn't been any team that has been consistently good all season. Yes, Manchester United has been somewhat average eventhough they are first. It's more that the rest of the league has been worse. If you think Liverpool are boring to watch, Manchester United has been the most boring top team I've ever seen. They are really only entertaining if the team they are playing plays good football against them. 

Also, the Prem is definitely not the best league at least this year. La Liga is looking to be the best at the moment. Real and Barca are probably the two best teams in Europe. The rest of the league is also very good, but unfortunately for their league position, they play in the league with Real and Barca. Italy is softer than it was in the past, but still many top teams. Germany is the rising league at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see the German league beat out the Prem in the near future. The CL league semi-finals could be interesting. Shalke will be no easy task. They could make the final as likely as United for me. United are just the presses favorites.
