Liverpool sealed the deal to bring Spain winger Albert Riera from La Liga side Espanyol for an undisclosed fee. Steve Finnan and Andriy Voronin leave the Merseyside club for Espanyol and Hertha Berlin.

Hahahahahah! Another shit signing by Liverpool. Damn, they can be so proud of their transfer window. Besides an overpriced Keane, they got a shit player from Dortmund (Degen) and now this turd? Well done Benitez... you are continuing your shit form during transfer windows. I guess he can always hand his hat on the signing of Torres. :rolleyes:

More interesting transfer news:

Corluka (Man City) ---> Tottenham

Nice addition for the Spurs.

Manchester City might grab Villa, what a horrible place for him. He should stay in Spain.

I doubt it. I heard he signed a new contract just this past week.

Man City made bids for Villa and Mario Gomez.  If they got one of them that would be fantastic.  They are lacking a nice striker.  Their midfield is looking great with SWP back.

So the Berbatov deal is pretty much official. He was spotted with Sir Alex and apparently the official Man Utd photographer arrived at Old Trafford just now. (Probably to snap a photo of Berbie signing?)

And apparently Madrid have accepted the bid for Robinho from City.

Robinho officially to Man City
Berbatov officially to Man Utd

Both are really good signings, I prefer Robinho at City than Chelsea.

Berbatov is finally here and is wearing #9.  :biggrin:

I wouldn't doubt it. We need a 4th striker to sit on the bench. This would be a terrible move for Donovan even though a move to Bayern sounds good. He'll sit every game unless two strikers are injured.
