Kanute is a good guy. Good luck to him and Sevilla. I used to fast when I used to play for a Basketball team, I wasn't too hard since we used sub often. Soccer is a different story. I always played soccer fasting but never competitively.

it's a traditional fast. dawn until dusk. no food, liquids (i think), and sex (i think).

No food, no sex, no liquid and people are looking forward to it? LOL.
