If you take a flight to the other side of the earth, in the middle of the day and lets say you arrive to the other side when morning just has broken (for them). Will you have to fast double as much?

You don't have to fast if you are traveling
Nor do you have to the day that you landed and the day after until you have properly settled

those traveling are exempt, but must make up the days they miss.

Fast is suspended if you travel more than 45 km.....but there are two possibilities
1-you go to anywhere but come back to homeown before noon.
2-you go to travel after noon and then you may iftar at anywhere on time.

I see.

So Allah condones travelling.

Interresting.

Are there any other scenarios where you don't have to fast?

Quote
Fasting is mandatory on every Muslim who is sane, adult, able and resident. The following exemptions apply:

   1. the insane;
   2. children who are not adolescent yet;
   3. the elderly and chronically ill for whom fasting is unreasonably strenuous; Such persons are required to feed at least one poor person every day in Ramadan for which he or she has missed fasting.
   4. pregnant women and nursing may postpone the fasting at a later time;
   5. the ill and the travellers can also defer their fasting.
   6. Women during the period of menstruation or of post childbirth confinement. Fasting during these periods is forbidden and should be made up later, a day for a day.

well i know a girl suspect here lying being  muslim.
she is from pakistan an she says she is sunni. i ask here about here religion and what the koran says. she says she is not read it and knows much about it. well i say how can you say you are muslim when you dont know about the history. she say she belive in allah, yet i never seen here pray, wich she claims. i seen here smoke, and she says she wants to do ramadan. she cant explain diffrences between shia and sunni, and still claims to belive. she she say its gone through generations being muslim and thats why she claims the faith.
what makes you a muslim?
is it to say you belive or knowing why you belive?
for me it is more about knowing the history and from there making the belive in god, rather just claim being a muslim whenever you feel like it bcouse of herritage.
it's kinda irritating me that she claims being, but not knowing why she belives,history and so on.. for me she should know litlebit more than allah and profet to calle oneself muslim..thoughts?

That depends.

most people would have seen it as a question, but then there's these dumb people with absolutely no trace of a brain like you who has to figure out the questino firstly and by that gets confused.

But really: it depends.
