Consecutive atw pain.
« on: Aug 05, 2009, 08:23: AM »
Lately, it hurts in the lower back right above my ass when I'm doing consecutive atws. It's fucking shit, cause I really can't do anything with my right foot without getting pain. Have any one had this problem? How did you get rid of it?

Gonna try and explain it in danish...
Måske er det en nerve i den nedre region af ryggen, der har sat sig i klemme i en ryghvirvel?  :dontknow:

If it is, i suggest you dont freestyle for a while...

You twisted a tendon/muscle that is in your back.

Massage the area that hurts for a few minutes a day and give your body a rest from freestyle.

i have met this pain 3 or 4 times, just take a break for about a month, then your muscle recovers and becomes stronger. after that, even your atws are improved.
freestyle, seeing is believing.

alternately, you may have pulled a glut (the top of it) or a muscle in your back

I would say at from 1 to 3 weeks. You could still freestyle by doing some sits and uppers...

I had the same problem, my doctor said that's because I burden my right leg too much while the left one almost not at all, so I train HATWs and HTWs much more - it's not that bad now, I think it quite helped. Some back exercises should help too.
