work all you want, i dont care how much work managers and agents spend on freestyle.

with a atidude like "its not for everyone" then you are someone i will never suport in any ways.

you should work with tennis or golf, thats for the rich people, and not for everyone.

Freestyle for me is more then money, its a lifestyle!

Freestyle for me is guys like Abdullah, Palle, Leiki, Sean... Not wanna be football players that wasnt good enough for the game.

as a person i have nothing against this guy, i dont know him at all. and bevs and the rest of you australlian guys dont have to get so mad...
sure you are happy, you are promoted in your contrie, and probably get jobs... but dont tell us in Europe what freestyle is about!

WORLD FINAL SHOULD BE IN AMSTERDAM, Mekka of freestyle. Not south africa like a silly warm up for the worldcup in football.

what the hell anders? when did i try to tell you what freestyle is about? i never made any comment on that argument whatsoever... the only reason i made a post in this topic was because you and dan were calling a guy who has done an awful lot for me and for freestyle in australia  a "retard". Thats all i got mad about and dont tell me to do otherwise because i think thats something worth getting mad about.

I never said i support what paul said, i just thought u should give him a break and not just jump to the conclusion that he is a retard because of one 20 second interview that he probably didnt prepare for at all. I totally agree that freestyle is for everyone and i HATE it when people just assume we are washed up footballers.

And as for that "us in europe" crap, whats that shit about? your talking asif u guys are the only real freestylers and us over here are something else. We are ALL freestylers, we ALL have the same goal of making freestyle big.

i never said he was a retard :)

i dont mean we are the real freestylers. Sorry if it came out like that. Everyone can have their own opinion about freestyle. But you should be verry carefull making statments that may it seem like your word is the real deal... cause its 1000 other opinions.

this was most about freestyle noting beeing for everyone. that made me abit angry.

I feel the hate of my sport alot. and that why i have strong feelings about this. cause norway is like many other contries, Just about football...

I dont think anyone here ment that your friend/manager/agent is a retard hehe... it was just the statement he made.

take care

peace and respect!

in your first post you said "it will always be a BI product of football when its retards like this Paul who organize things..."

and i dont believe i made any statement saying my world is the "real deal"...

however, i can understand why what paul said would have annoyed you and im sure he now understands your point of view, i know he will take it on board and his next interview will be different.

anyway, its now time to move on...

In my opinion the connection between freestyle and football can be used by freestylers to make our sport more popular.
Football is the biggest sport, and specially here in europe there can be a lot of interest in our sport, so i have to aggree with this:
trying to remove football from the term "football freestyle" is probably the dumbest thing you could do as a freestyler.

maybe freestyle originated from football.. but at the moment it is certainly not a bi-product...
tell me how tatw amatw nt has anything to do with a game of football

don't take it personal. I understand you. But, don't you find it a bit strange to say that, when on your last video, you freestyle with a football ball and football shoes?
I guess it will be hard to remove this football thing.

dan, i'm sorry, but you are 100% wrong. all freestyle styles, except maybe the use of hands, were originally used to train for football. if you don't believe me, just watch any warm up for a professional football match. you will see people juggling the ball with lower and upper body. its less likely, but you may even see someone do something sitting down. this was the beginning of freestyle.  all i am saying is that separating football from freestyle is a really stupid move. it removes the history of the sport, and hurts is you in the possible business of the sport since most performances people get are for some football related event.  another example is that futsal and beach soccer are completely different sports than football. they are played in an extremely different way. one player from each sport, isn't always good at the others just as in freestyle.  they haven't replaced football from its background, so freestyle shouldn't either. dan, i respect you as a freestyler, but if you continue to say football has nothing to do with it, you need to consider yourself a juggler instead.

Only because football freestyle has evolved doesn't mean it's not a bi-product of football anymore. Juggling has been practised within football for ages to gain more control over the ball, and then people started making simple tricks and from that freestyle football was built.

Ground moves, lower- and upper style must have been the first styles to emerge and both of them has a strong connection to football when looking at the basic tricks.

The term "bi-product", DOES NOT mean "exactly the same", hence amatw tatw doesn't necessarily has to be performed in football for football freestyle to be a bi-product of regular football.

As with every sport, or anything else for that matter, only a handful of people involved in the activity will be able to do the most tough stuffs. So a correction would go something like: "Everybody can freestyle, but only some will be able to come this far".

Ok i see your point, but about the business thing... I care more about freestyling for fun than getting money, although obviously its great to get some LP's//
about the last line, i think i might just consider myself a freestyler instead of a football freestyler... juggling is one of the words i hate when people talk about freestyle.. juggling makes it sound so "failed-footballer"-ish....

oh well... okey freestyle originated from football.. but right now, it doesnt have to much to do with football once you pass a certain level..
ask any kid who can do a neckstall and he will say its football-related...
go ask someone who trains hardcore uppers, lowers, or sitdowns and they will tell you that for them, it has nothing to do with football, which is my situation..
However its also a benefit to us that people are ignorant to freestyle... If you go busking, anyone who loves football will immediately stop so it can be a good thing, but we need to work to remove the thought that "Cristiano Ronaldo is the best freestyler in the world"
