Anyone who thinks Spain or Portugal are coming anywhere near the world cup trophy is fucked.

Lets be real this is no confederations cup. USA wouldn't even make it passed the group stage. The only reason they do make it to the world cup is because besides Mexico there is no real challenge in their confederation.

we have a very good chance at making it past the group stage. i don't think we'll come remotely (huge emphasis on this. the knock-out stages are always open game, but we don't have near the quality to challenge the top 10 for four matches--this was shown even through the confed cup) close to challenging for the cup, but we have the quality to make the knock-out round, especially if we end up seeded.
we even came close in the disaster of 2006, and i think this team (especially with jermaine jones inserted into it) is a lot better than 2006 if we line up appropriately.
ETA: re: our confederation. mexico is very good. we're a fair bit better than them imo. however, azteca is a stronghold, as is everywhere else in concacaf. we can expose most concacaf teams at home (even if we are out-numbered in support), but playing away in concacaf is fucking lethal.

England i can safely say, will never win a World cup in the foreseeable future.. Theyre cocky, arrogant, and so over-rated... Their technical ability is miles and miles behind the likes of Brazil and Spain, and their tactical ability is equally lacking... as well as this, theyre screwed if it ever goes to penalties, or if they have to play against Germany/Argentina they will always lose...

and honestly, if England has to rely on Owen, Crouch, and Heskey....then that already proves the quality that England has. These players can't cut it at the top level as strikers. Rooney is good, but has nothing positive around him. Of all offensive players on England, only Rooney and Gerrard could probably cut it. The rest of the team needs to be revamped.
Stewart Downing if awful. Lampard is inconsistent. Beckham is done. Is Joe Cole alive? etc, etc.

I think Englands chances of doing well at the next WC are very 50/50 i mean they have an OK team, but take Ferdinand and Terry who i think will only start getting worse, and may struggle against fast and agile strikers.

No I said have a look at Owen and Rooneys goalscoring records internationally (Have a look at Rooneys too also by the way) You then said it wasn't against good enough teams (Crouchs goals that is as you must have looked at Owens at realised you couldn't say anything at all) and then I told you that almost all internationals goals are against weaker teams, just the way it is. owen's goal scoring record is undeniable. but you must be on the rag if you think he'll ever be able to produce again.
Crouch is not a top international striker, i'm sorry. This is why plays for Portsmouth.
All you've got is your beloved Rooney. Past goal scoring records are fantastic, but recent form and common sense tells you that Crouch is barely finding his ways on a mid table team (like Owen used to be doing) and Owen can't stay fit enough to do anything, anyway.

I was training with manchester citys academy, which is one of the best in europe. I did a few training sessions with there team, the coach told me to come back in a year, and see how i grow, (Physically) they said techniqually i was just as good as the other players, but physically i was a year or two behind.
I started freestyle 6 months later, and soon i stopped playing football, I prefer freestyle, mainly because its all down to you, and anyone can do it, nobody gets any genetic advantages.
I still have my season ticket at city, I still enjoy watching the odd game, but i havent played competetive football for a year and a bit now.

I started freestyle 6 months later, and soon i stopped playing football, I prefer freestyle, mainly because its all down to you, and anyone can do it, nobody gets any genetic advantages.
I still have my season ticket at city, I still enjoy watching the odd game, but i havent played competetive football for a year and a bit now.
You had no chance of gettin in at city, simply cos your not black :P

I was training with manchester citys academy, which is one of the best in europe. I did a few training sessions with there team, the coach told me to come back in a year, and see how i grow, (Physically) they said techniqually i was just as good as the other players, but physically i was a year or two behind.

Nothin racist lol, i was jus jokin cos city generally have lotsa black players in their academy across the ages

City sent me a letter inviting me to join their academy simply cuz they heard I was black.
