Breno7 Freestyler - Games Opening Performance =)
« on: Jun 10, 2009, 05:10: PM »
Hey Brotha!

Well, here's my latest lp! I've gotta say, my inspirations
are john farnworht, jk, Emil J and Filip Meeus, I just love how they perform

In this Lp, I tried to "freestyle to the music", like I think it should be done generally, imo.

I really hope you enjoy it like the audience seemed to do hahaha Constructive critcism and suggestions
are always welcome! Thanks!

Ps: Notice, before the rolling trick, I do that little pray FX does before he nails patw at red bull haha That one was dedicated to Tamas, Respect for him  :pimp:

FFS people, stop mimicking other freestylers! About almost every performance you see someone mimicking some other freestyler, whether it's JF, JK, Nam, Séan or somebody else. Just stop it and think of something of your own for once!

Apart from that, your performance was quite good, went well with the song which was chosen well. Whoever filmed this, should've zoomed in, but the most important thing is that the crowd loved it, so good work!

dude, calm down. do u really think everyone can be 100% unique or even 50%. and i didnt see much similarity with those FSer's with his performance. everyone does half those things.

Yep, you are reasoned Miran.
But i have to say it's hard to put tricks of your own in
a lp like that... People will probably misunderstand me because
I listed my inspirations and stuff haha I listed because i respect them

And the thing about FX, I did that to chill out hahaha, it was something that came
spontaneously during the lp. Don't worry I don't do these kinds of Mimicks to
BE like other freestylers. I just try to gather the coolest tricks and transitions I know
to give a good show :]

Thanks man, that's the kind of constructive criticism I was looking for  :hello:

And thanks for the support L_I_S ;]

I don't need to calm down since I'm not furious or anything. And yes, everyone can be unique, if they actually tried instead of just copying stuff from other people. But I think maybe you didn't fully understand what I wanted to say. I'm not saying that everyone should be completely different from each other, that's impossible since we all mostly use the same tricks, but everyone has some movements that are unique to them and that's what some people mimic/copy. JF, Palle and Séan will do 10 inside atw's in a performance, but everyone of them will do it differently, if you get what I'm trying to say.

BTW, I was talking in general when I mentioned those freestylers, I wasn't saying Breno mimicked all of them. And the thing I was talking about in this performance was the same performance "intro" as JF's with waving your hands around while doing head juggles and then doing a sidehead stall, aswell as the same combination JK has with the thigh pop when he's doing sitdowns.

Anyways, I didn't want to start a discussion about this (maybe open a new thread in the chat section if you want to discuss it further), I just wanted to point it out and give Breno some advice how to improve his performance, NHF!

With all of that said, what's the name of that song?

haha
All Rigth Miran, I got your point! I'm used to that kind of arguments because I know
Pedro and Luigi. And they share this same opinion about seeking your own
style and way of performing haha I'm trying to improve on that, believe me ;]

The first song is A Great Big Sled by The Killers
And the second one (the lp song) is You're Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring

Heeeeeeeeey mate, this is your best LP so far, I love how you improve your skills in such an entertaining way!

I would like to see some more of lower action, like the long combos you have been doing and some tou bounce/toe heel action.
But it was a really great  performance, I enjoyed it a lot!

Now, let's face it , you stole this music from my videooo!
Haha

@L_I_S
This is a brazilian high school.. Although they have English classes in school every week, just 10% of everyone in the stadium probably would understand the lyrics of fast music like that.

I know Rock, I wish had a comfortable space on the routine
to put my new shit and, like you said, the long combos. Next LP maybe they will be there

I just got really happy cause I nailed the rolling trick, wich I was really afraid to fail on :]
