    Barcelona 4-1 Valladolid

Barcelona closed to within four points of Real Madrid at the top of the Primera Liga on Sunday after the leaders lost 3-2 at home to Valencia while the Catalans beat Valladolid 4-1 at the Nou Camp. Real slipped to only their second home defeat of the season when Angel Arizmendi struck a dramatic 89th-minute winner.

Once again... Madrid is not as good as their league position makes them out to be. I've been saying it all season long. If Barcelona wasn't so damn inconsistent, Madrid would not be at the top. La Liga is really weird this year with a teams like Valencia and Deportivo struggling. Heck, Atletico Madrid has so much talent yet they are only now finding their form. The one team that's performing above expectations is Villareal.

A team can never be worst than thier league position. The points never lie. Lucky wins/ties etc. It does not matter. Points are points. Barcelona is horrible if you think about it. They have Messi, Henry, etc. etc. Who is the team of stars now?
