He touched him, but that will always be debatable. All I know is that United ripped Tottenham apart in the second half and were scoring goals for fun. Ronaldo + Rooney finally found each other, it was amazing.

he definitely caught him.  it was never really a question of that.  it was whether or not he got the ball.  it's very, very hard to tell

He had to have gotten the ball because look where it rolls to

Carrick was running with it and when he made contact with Gomes the ball bounces off of Gomes and rolls to the outside of the 18rd box. If he didnt touch him then how did the ball end up over there?

All i know is that Old Trafford is a ground known for strange calls, whether they're against the visiting team or for Man U

michael carrick got a touch on it right before gomes got there.  it's very clear that michael carrick gets a touch in that same direction.

that's not to go either way.  i honestly can't tell.
