ACID Music Studio software. It cost money but I'm sure there are many ways of getting it without having to pay   ;).

Yeah, i have Acid 6.0; As far as really making your own beats from scratch, you kind of just get a whole bunch of pre made patterns and slap them together. With the keyboard i have, it has MIDI out put so i can record different drum hits into beats, pretty much from scratch. Also a great software for beats is Reason or Pro Tools.

A friend of mine got the whole set up with the keyboard and all like yours its tight. I remember when he made a beat and put it on One Mic by Nas  .

Yeah i also have a M-Audio Keyboard, but i think it is designed for Macs.

You should be able to make what ever sort of sound you'd like. It's just how you manage to vary the drum sounds/patterns. Techno beats aren't to terribly hard to make either, you should be able to find your sound.

Reminds me... anyone know of any free online software that will allow me to make beats and music in general? I want to try and make some techno/dance type of stuff.

My cousin got a Nuo 4; it's an actual mixer.. A good program that has pre-recorded beats and stuff is Fruity Loops.. and I forget the name of the mixer I use to use.  :dontknow:

FIFA 08 for Playstation 2 is a joke, it is just like 07. '08 is designed for PS3 and XBOX 360; i've played it on both, it is brilliant.
