Inter v Liverpool

Can the Italian Giants do it?

I say no. Simply because, well, Inter will be attacking hard, leaving some open space for Torres and Kuyt. Torres is really good, any space he gets, he can convert.

Liverpool 3 - 2 Inter (agg.)

i agree with borg here Liverpool only need to get one goal to make inters job next to impossible and if inter go out for the entire win as in scoring 3 they will inevitably leave space for kuyt and torres.  The best thing imo for Inter to do is to go out to score two and draw then sit back and defend and go for the win in extra time as they'll have the home advantage.

I think Liverpool will win it out, but I wouldn't be surprised if Inter got an early goal and pushed hard for a late one.

INTER 4 LIFE

i think or hope inter can turn this one around. as ELITE said if inter can get an early goal we have a great chance to win. if we close out torres and kuyt and get an early goal this match will be in the bag

An early goal would be crucial, and you guys have amazing defenders so it should be interesting.

I have to write a fucking test after school so I'm missing everything, but this is on Wednesday right?

Anything can happen and I can see a 2-0 win for Inter, but it's rather unlikely. If they had their starting defense, I would give them a better chance but their backup defense is going to be an issue especially when it comes to counter-attacks.

Liverpool isn't known for its counter attacking though.

Liverpool isn't known for its counter attacking though.

When you play on the road and you have a comfortable lead, you will naturally play a bit more organized and defensive. With Inter having to score goals, Liverpool will surely attempt some counter-attacks to take advantage of Inter's attack minded game. I'm not saying Liverpool plays counter-attacking football at all times, but this situation calls for counter-attacks with what Inter's game plan will be.
