« on: Apr 03, 2009, 05:32: AM »
I've been tryin' this stall for like 2 days, trust me, i havent got anythin yet :boxing:
Is it cuz of the hair or it takes more time than any other stall to get used to ?

lol balshi
you act like any move can be learned in 2 hours or so
good positive thinking
but, bad if you stop after failing
main thing is to practice a loooot
keep practicing
I used to think top headstall is impossible
now I can do it from a headstall for like 5 seconds

The best peice of adice i could give is maybe use a mirror.

This is one of those tricks that come easier for some people than others.

However if you look at back part, of the top of your head, there is some kinda lump there, your sweet spot is there, not in the middle of your head.

like gman said, you should start out doing it in front of a mirror. also start by placing it on top head with hands. the only other thing i can say is to try to concentrate you eyes on one thing. this helps you with your balance.

Maybe it's the hair if you have a crazy mow-hawk. If not, this trick takes a lot longer to learn. It's not something like a foot stall. You can't clench the ball a little. You really have to balance it.

About how long does it normally take to be able to balance it for about 5 seconds
because I've been trying it for 3 months and I don't feel like I'm any better than when I started

I've been doing it as dan said
when you're just bored, nothing to do, I just put it up there trying for 10 min
1 year of doing that lol
but I think if you concentrate on practicing it more, you'll get it in waaaay less obviously
