The Potentials
« on: Mar 20, 2009, 09:30: PM »
This thread is all about the youth of football. Youngsters if you may.

Topic of Discussion: Giovani Dos Santos

Do you think Giovani Dos Santos move out of Barca was wise?
Is his loan move to Ipwish a sign of his dismal time at Spurs?
Does he a big timer or just a bench warmer?

hes got talent but hes a type of player where you need to put confidence in him and build the team around him

if hes not the center of traffic on the time then he wont shine

I believe he should move out of Tottenham and move back to Spain or go Italy
cause his a fast paced player usually winger forward and that's rare in English football

He's only 19 so I'd give him time at spurs, including his loan move. After this season it wouldn't surprise me if he went out on loan again.

he always was overrated, because mexico wanted to claim they had a player on the level of robinho or messi. this isn't dos santos's fault, but i doubt he will ever be the superstar he was supposed to be. he will probably become a solid player for a mid to lower level first division european side. more likely outside of Britain, because of the physicality of that league.

he was "overrated" because that mexican u-17 team was badass as a mother fucker, and he was an extremely influential player

if he can find his feet somewhere, he'll be a great player

I can some how see the kid doing great 'ONCE HE LEAVES SPURS'
And i don't think he could play good in the EPL because of the physicality involved

nah, "central" and south americans are about as bad as it gets physically

he may not be able to cope w/the pace, but that's another thing entirely

They should have invested their tim in Guardado.

Levan Kenia

Georgian footballer who plays for Schalke. 18 year old and quiet a talent do you think he has a future?
i watched a few Schalke games and his a good player and gets game time too, i could see this just in a few year getting full games.

and while we are still on the topic of Georgian youngsters

Levan Mchedlidze

A good striker, threat from corners and isn't afraid to run at players.
Could these two be the future of Georgian football?
