I've seen a dude feed a pack of wild hyenas meat while he sat down in the middle of them. He had a fire lit and would feed them out of his own hand he sometimes used his mouth. He did this every day after dusk.

I seen it near the border of Somalia and Ethiopia, about some 12 years ago.
