Unexpected PATW combo?

I've seen some videos where people show off their near-miss patw, in which, it appears their foot barely hits the ball before it reaches the ground.  In some cases though, it looks like their foot is actually touching the ground.

Wouldn't this make that nearly missed patw into patw-ttb (nt)?

EDIT: Just to be sure you're clear about what I'm saying....

-Person does three revolutions and hasn't touched the ball yet, the ball is almost to the ground
-Person tries to get his foot under the ball in time and his foot is on the ground when the ball hits it

Maybe I'm missing something, but why isn't that patw-ttb?

you are kind of right.. but a normal toe bounce hit where the heel is in the ground and then you lift the toe when the ball comes close
and it bounce up again... 

on a patw if the heel is in the ground before the toe.. that would be a patw tb i guess.. (really hard ;) )

otherwise its just the toe hitting the ground at the same time it hit the ball...

dont know if that made any sense to anyone haha.. its late/early here
