Rules and Guidelines for Competition
« on: Feb 19, 2008, 08:34: AM »
Intro
36 Great freestylers have signed up for the second competition held on this forum.
It's with great joy that I announce that the competition has attracted a couple of famous names and hopefully this years edition will be just as good as last years edition or even better.

Procedure
Procedure is currently being overlooked and a new system will be made up within 24 hours, sorry for any inconvenience, please be patient.

Explanation with picture
For you who don't understand how it will work, here is a picture. I warn you, the picture contains extreme paint skills.
http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/5899/soccergripkr1.jpg

Time limit
Round 1 is the knock out round and at this stage you will make a 60 second video. - 1 Minute
In the eith final you will be given 120 seconds - 2 Minutes
Quarter final 150 seconds - 2 Minutes 30 seconds
Semi final 180 seconds 3 minutes
Final 240 seconds 4 minutes

There is no minimum length, only maximum.

Judging
Power to the people.
The judges will be each and every user of the forum which have registered before an exact date and have made an exact ammount of posts
With other words, the forum users will vote their favourite and the freestyler which the MAJORITY thinks is the best will win the battle. Cheating will not occur under my watch, be sure of that.

Misc
Remember that this is a freestyle competition. It means you can do anything you want aslong as you are doing tricks with a football using your feet and shoulders etc.

IMPORTANT
First 5 seconds of the video there must be a text saying ;
www.beyondfootball.com

Date
The dates will be set as time passes.
Date for qualification video is the third of March.

Good idea about the beyondfootball url as well.
