i have been sending some newly resigtered member Pms welcoming them to SG and that Totti lad has reacted very well to it and has made a good contribution to the forum and also pallur has made a few posts i not saying that it was because of my message but i have a good feeling that they felt a little bit more welcomed

I think we should just make an "Introductory Thread" and put it in the general section, because on the old SG all the topics went off-topic and screwed, so just make one topic and everyone can introduce themselves there.

Chunk what's the most kills you've gotten in Halo 3?

27 in team slayer and have had a 20 kill killing spree using the turret on the car with my friend driving it lol

i see someone is good at the battle rifle

battle rifle is my preferred i hate the assualt rifle.

i stuck the same guy twice on last match with a sticky grenade and he wasnt too happy lol

i was playign a lil of it today, and god i kept getting pwned every single fucking time...althoguh i was using assult rifle

yeah to do well with that you need to crouch a lot and be a sneaky mother fucker. its useless from distance. try throwing loads of frags and picking off people when your team do most of the work lol

the melee on halo 3 is a bit odd at times not sure if its because the americans got a faster connection to the servers but you can be shooting a guy more and melee him and he will still kill you with less shots and a melee.

ive got a way of avoiding it though i do a little jump before the melee which does more damage as its to the face so if it doesnt kill him his melee wouldnt do as much damage as it would be to the groin and not the chest lol

whenever i did a melee, my dude seemed like he had a heart attack and was about to fall over dead...i kept on always getting stickied by the plasmas as well...do u like using the vehicles or do u prefer the regular hand weapons

if you've got a friend whos good at driving the warthog i would suggest using that me and my friend always get atleast a killing frenzy. we always stalk them at there spawn just parking next to a enterance to a building and mowing them down when they come out lol

or with the ghost i use the left trigger to go faster and try and splat them but i slow down just as they jump and catch them on the volley as there landing. it always works and pisses people off lol the plasm gun is pretty shit htough well maybe im just not very good with it.

with hand guns i prefer using the battle rifle on a higher sentitivaty setting but i prefer a lower one while using a sniper rifle.

i try to always find a shotgun for the close up fights as those suckers are dangerous, its when the fighting it a lil farther away that i suck like a mother...sometimes i use a sniper rifle tho its pretty much a free kill as im standing still trying to find the zoom button, i used the battle rifle a few times in a slayer mode and i got some fast kills with that so i stuck with it...i wish the pistol was stronger than it is...i feel like i could break the damn thing in half

i really hate getting killed by the shotgun im always running towards them with an assualt rifle shooting them and when i get close enough to melee i get one shot killed. wioth the shotgun the best is jumping from ledge to ledge and cutting people off or hiding around corners.

i really hate the needler it is by far the most annoying gun i sometimes die from getting shot 4 times from distance and even when im around corners because they bounce off walls.

the hand gun style shotgun is as equally as annoying as the shotgun.

the brute shot just sucks balls in halo 2 you needed to ricoque the shots and get them to bounce into the people but in halo 3 you hit them directly with it and most of the time the whole clip isnt enough to kill them and by the time your reloading your already dead unless you quickly switch to the assualt rifle. the brute shot works bests against enemy mongooses and ghosts.

the sword is the easiest to get kills with when the aim is red all you need to do is swipe because its an auto lock on jumping always gets the best lock ons though. the hammer is good on maps like narrows and guardian because if you dont kill them it will most probably bounce them off the edge. jumping and using the hammer doesnt work too well because sometimes the hammer just pushes you up in the air and misses the target.

i picked up the hammer once but died from a sniper before i was able to even have a swing at it, the sword is something i got plenty of kills from but like u said it is quite easy to do so. i also agree about the brute, i was playing in the val halla map and i went through the whole clip and my oppenet was not dead and as i am shocked and quickly trying to reload he busts my ass with his shot gun. i havent seen as many people as i thought use the needler yet. when u play with ur friend, do u too stay near each other and move in a pack or go seperate ways taking each person on seperatly
