I thought most TVs at full hd were the same intill i seen what lower brands with low contrast ratios are like football matches pixlate and lag like a bitch because it cant cope with the range and speed of contrast rates from dim to bright lights. So if im going to buy a TV might aswell fork out the extra amount to get a good one to last me for the long run.

When it comes to TVs I always thought Samsung and LG were the way to go, but I guess Toshiba is catching up.

Yeah I seen some do that, in a way it makes it shitter than havin a normal tv really

And jus make sure if ur gettin a big un that your far enuff away from it cos i kno thats a problem wit ppl who 'go american' and get the biggest one, but have a small living room (or w/e) and are sat too close to it and tis all pixelated n shit lol

Thats just occured to me today apperently to ge the best view from the Tv you need to be sat 3 times the TVs size away so if i bought a 42" then i would need to be 10 feet away from it to look good.

Not a good sign since i wanted to use the TV as a PC monitor too so im probably going for the 37" Toshiba TV but if all is bad then i would return it and get a High class 32" TV for the same price. My bedroom is pretty small so im going to see my neighbours TV "42" Toshiba" tomorrow to judge what its like from close up.
