you ppl still think the Qur'an was written
we give you the answer, you still close your minds
we believe it's Allah's words sent down to Prophet Muhammad through Angel Jibreel
then later, it was written down by Companions of the Prophet so it won't be lost

2 of the thousand proofs that the Qur'an was the word of God:
1. Allah challenged every creature to make a book like the Qur'an
then create a chapter like any of the Qur'an
then create a chapter like the smallest chapter (which consists of three small verses)
then create a VERSE like any

until now, nothing was successful, ppl have been trying to challenge it for more than 1400 years till now
2. Allah has promised to keep the Qur'an safe from distortion
(it's still as it is)

and btw, many have tried to scientifically prove that the Qur'an is scientifically incorrect
and... you all know what happened...
they failed miserably

just look at that faggot professor William Campbell when he tried to prove the Qur'an is a fake when he challenged Dr. Zakir Naik
he ended up swallowing his own saliva and ended with errrs....

and other ppl tried to challenge Zakir Naik saying that Islam is a wrong religion, they all ended up like  :-[
And Zakir Naik is just a fellow preacher, he's not the most knowledgeable in Islam... so...
you might try to make a fool of us on here but not Islam

another fact that the Quran has been preserved in its original form for so long and all over
should be another miracle to prove its holiness

and The Well of Zamzam should be the 8th Wonder of the World

Well i wouldn't be entirley sure about that i mean it is an amazing claim to make and most likely in my mind untrue.

Lets take for example the first of what i call changes or possible changes to the Quran, the killing of many of the companions in the Rida, this even if there were many companions must have surely lead to some kind of knowledge gap between the original teachings and what was memorised by the companions.
Second the compiling of the first written Quran by caliph Uthman (may be wrong about it being first written but its the roots for the modern Qurani believe)  Caliph Uthman collected together all variations of the Quaran which he deemed unacceptable etc and burnt them, now he may have done this to preserve the original ideas who knows.
Thirdly this quote "owing to the fact that the kufic script in which the Koran was originally written contained no indication of vowels or diacritical points, variant readings are recognized by Muslims as of equal authority." (N.J. Dawood, The Koran, Middlesex, England: Penguin Books, 1983, p 10, introduction to Dawood’s translation of the Koran)
this quote "the Reading of Abu `Amr in the version of al-Duri ... prevails in the Sudan, Nigeria, and Central Africa." (Labib as-Said, The Recited Koran: A History of the First Recorded Version, tr. B. Weis, et al, Princeton, New Jersey: The Darwin Press, 1975, p. 84)

Now im not saying that the Quran has  been changed i just take offense when Muslims claim it has obviously neve ever been modified in any way.

i never said it was an accident.  science never says it was an accident.  nobody said that.
So whats the Big Bang theory

just as the name implies, it's a theory...it means that we are trying to find the answers of how the earth and the universe was formed. now, i don't really believe in it, but i think its a bit rediculous to disrespect the fact that we are trying to find the answers.
Evolution is just as much of an theory as that

no, no it's not.  i posted an article addressing that.

i've directly referenced evidence of speciation.  if you want, i can find you evidence of one species turning into one or more different species.

Evolution has a lot of holes in it.

evolution itself?  no discernable holes.  you run into problems when you start trying to piece the fossil record together/try to explain the causes behind evolution.

there was an original Qur'an written at the time of Abu Bakr
Abu Bakr appointed Zayd ibn Thabit to collect the proper verses
Zayd was one of the few who were literate, he memorized the whole Qur'an during the Prophet's time, and he used to write down verses of the Qur'an while the Prophet recited it to him
Zayd went around to collect proper verses, if it was the same as his then he would record it
so I don't think there would be any mistake in it
and plus, Allah has promised to keep it as it is till the end of time, and so far no change to it. I mean if no one was able to change it during the 1400 years, then I don't believe the ppl who memorized it will forget any of the Qur'an in like 5 years after the Prophet died, coz they used to read it every day
it would stay in their hearts
that's another miracle of the Qur'an, it was made to be easily memorized, and it is easy

and back to evolution, I'm still not convinced (even by a tiny bit) that it's a fact. it's all  :bs:
do you ppl think that either we will be extinct or we will keep evolving until we're some sort of homo-faggotaurus or something  :dontknow:
coz I believe in an end of time, the 2nd coming of the Isa (Jesus) and the false Messiah, when everything will die, this earth will be turned to dust and then the day of Judgement

Don't waste your time with ignorant masses. The Quran can easily be memorized. I know ordinary dudes who know the whole Quran by heart and they don't read it no where near a daily basis. At some points I memorized 7 parts out of the 30 its not that hard...... Don't forget I'm not even from an Arabic speaking background.

Secondly we don't disagree with evaluation all together of course organisms have to adapt and evolve over a very long period of time in order to survive. Evolution can be looked at as a means by which Allah diversifies life on earth. Allah alone, for instance, causes a nucleotide base to be deleted or added in a DNA sequence, thereby causing a frame shift mutation, which leads to the birth of a new species, which represents an evolutionary superior to its genetic predecessor, which passes on its DNA to its progeny, which results in a subsequent mutation, ad infinitum. Allah not only starts this process but He also sustains and directs every second of its execution and development. Islam does not reject aspects of Evolution.

But an Ape evolving into a human being please don't waste my time with that crap.

If Darwin was correct than how come we humans still haven't develop into something more intelligent and physically different than we are today?..... Humans have been around for a very very long time now. How come we haven't evolved further??  Smarten up.

but, when you observe physical evidence and see that the logical progression of things would point in that direction, why not call a spade a fucking spade?  it's not like we're some perfect organism.  we're inefficient to the max on almost every level.

we've only been around for 160 000 years.  that's just a blip in evolutionary history.  although, we are markedly different from the first humans (which you have addressed, but let me say again, there is no difference b/w "microevolution--which you have described" and "macroevolution")

even if we haven't "evolved," there have been well documented cases of speciation--new species being formed
