I'm not too spoiled since I don't ask for much..

only the occasional car

no but for real all I require is cleats, shinpads, books, and music, besides the obvious necessities of food, clothing, etc...

and I pay for some of the above with my own money

but I know people who are ridiculously spoiled and sheltered from the outside world

I don't think I'm too spoiled, just the necessities like mentioned above. Although my parents do pay for my hockey, and all those extra sports. Hockey alone is like $1000+, plus equipment and all that.

i don't get too much from my parents anymore, but when i did, it was all through my blood, sweat, and tears.  i had to negotiate for that shit.

i can't say i really associate with anyone who is spoiled either (even people with a lot of "things" -- mostly money).  i do have a teenage relative that won't fly unless it's first class .  he's an enterprising little bastard though

haha

I like to support my artists, though

I buy lots of used books and music -- especially music, because at the big record stored it's way overpriced. Also, I can't always find what I want, so I go to the smaller, or dirtier places (so much dust in these stores for some reason) and buy for half price. Legally.

I have a few friends from England who do the same. But I get your point. :)
