all the verses where it says kill the non-believers is referring to when the Muslims are in a battlefield
AND after those verses Allah says in the Qur'an but if they wish for peace then it is better
and escort them to a place of safety

k i did some research and yea that's a myth but apparently the germs in dog's mouths are species specific so it still won't harm humans either way.
