There is a god,  the earth and its astronomical complexities as the evidence.  Now the devil, hell, heaven, adam and eve seem like fairy tales to me.

On another note, I can't get mad at the topic starter, cause I would rather hear that then the ultimate extremist pro-god people that believe the most absurd things.

Agnosticism (Greek: ?- a-, without + ?????? gn?sis, knowledge; after Gnosticism) is the philosophical view that the truth value of certain claims — particularly metaphysical claims regarding theology, afterlife or the existence of deities, ghosts, or even ultimate reality — is unknown or, depending on the form of agnosticism, inherently impossible to prove or disprove. It is often put forth as a middle ground between theism and atheism.[1]

Embrace it, Understand it, Love it.

I myself am a deist, but borderline agnostic

Just because the earth and the universe is complex to understand doesn't mean we just ignore finding out about how it all happens and put it that "God" made everything.

Eric Clapton is God. Therefore God exists.

But for real, here is one of the oldest proofs for god's existence (it's flawed, but you're not supposed to know that). Lets see what you all make of it:

Rene Descartes' Ontological "Proof of God." is, roughly:

   1. I exist

   2. I have in my mind the notion of a perfect being

   3. An imperfect being, like myself, cannot think up the notion of a perfect being

   4. Therefore the notion of a perfect being must have originated from the perfect being himself

   5. A perfect being would not be perfect if it did not exist

   6. Therefore a perfect being must exist

No, because you almost never learn anything, and it's pointless.

I'm so shit at it and lack anything closely resembling a video camera. I used to play a blues style but have now discarded hat and am working on my finger picking and am becoming half-decent at harmonics. My chord-playing abilities are awful, though. I have no chops, and can't do powerchords. So basically I'm stuck with folk, blues, rock with classical influences, randon fingerpicking stuff, and blues-based rock

I only do it to write songs. But I've started to use Powertab for that. It's a great program, you should check it out (it works for bass too, if thats your thang)

my personal belief is that god is the entirety of reality and the universe and existence of everything itself.  they are not seperate, and god is not a seperate higher being that created it.

if god is everywhere at the same time at all times, this only makes sense to me.

it's an imperfect and flawed belief, but then again every other belief out there is also just that.  the only thing that makes timeless sense, i believe, is what bruce lee said.

"Truth has no path. Truth is living and, therefore, changing." - Bruce Lee
