Europe and living there
« on: Dec 24, 2008, 06:23: AM »
What's going down? For those of you that live in Europe, shed some light on what its like living there. Is there a lot of freedom? Is it is easy to keep wealth or develop new wealth?  More specifically speaking to Italians, Portuguese, French, Greece, etc. I already know a lot about England, I am more interested in the countries with different language. I am thinkin about buying a home there or retiring in those countries, cause I don't want Oakland to be all I know.

Thanks for the replies, keep it treal.

I'd deffinately recomend Greece. Very friendly people, beautiful country, great weather, nice beaches. I don't know what more you'd need when you're retired

What's wrong with Florida tho?
Fx blesses himself before a patw combo, Tiernan blesses himself before a neck to sole transition.... but hey thats next generation
I was going to be there...but now I'm not going to be there

Honestly I am tired of America, its all I know, and there is so much more to the world than the U.S.  Plus, this country is going downhill fast, and europe seems way more laid back and fun and less stress free. I am young and stressed the hell out of myself already just to do what I wanna do, but when I retire I just wanna relax. Florida is cool, been to MIA 3 times, but europe seems like a different ball game

Thanks for the reply man

i've never been to europe, but it seems as it's so overrated in terms of the lifestyle. if you want to lay back, have great food, and see great women, go to central and south america.

It's plagued by corrupt government and war though. I don't need that, i got that here ma dude. Brazil was sick, I went there, but someone tried to pick pocket me there, and asked my homie leo if its always like that and he said yeah.

I would also recommend Greece, it's a very beautiful country and people are friendly. The southern part of France is also a great place, with nice weather, but you need to talk a little French to live there.. Otherwise I would recommend Luxembourg  Small, very beautiful country, although not all people are that friendly, but you can't generalise it.;)
Is it more like you want to come and live in Europe or just come over here for short times in holidays?

I find it funny that Americans often talk about Europe like its one whole country lol

Idk dunno much bout other parts of europe really, though all in all i would guess/say that they all friendly.

And tho England may not be great weather wise, its still a great place.

Also respect for wanting to kno bout other countries, not many americans do lol

I would recoman france for everything i got.
You got mountains like valdisaire and Tignes.
You got sexy Citys like Paris.
You got Vacation citys with beaches.

All over, France is a nice place to live,- must have some french lessons though.
If not France then i would recomand Greece.
Beatifull weather beaches friendly ppl. In generall a very quiet and peacefull place.

Not recomanded,- Scandinavia in Generall.
Norway Sweeden Denmark,- way to stressed up countrys where ppl have a tendency of thinking more of money and work instead
of taking are of famely and friends and be nice to eachother.
Pluss the amount of organized crime is on high scale developing all the time.
To much aggresetivey on the streets with fights and shit like that espacially in capital of Norway.
The winters are way to old also, manage 6 month of winter.

that's definitely overstated, especially among younger people.
