1. Zidane
2. R9
3. Thierry Henry
4. Raul
5. Roberto Carlos

mine is more attack minded; but just look at the goal scoring records.

zidane, obviously the best center mid of the decade+. the penaldty kick vs Italy just about sums up his style; fucking rediculous.

r9, the best striker of the past decade+. incredible plays, re-defined the step over (with a great display of it vs Ghana). 15 goals, the most by any player in the world cup. statistics speak for themselves, a true legend.

thierry henry, thierry henry, thierry henry. EPL's third all time leading scorer, Arsenal's first. led arsenal to an undefeated season, the only of it's kind. #7 in all time champions league goals, and #3 in appearances (and never won one ). another true legend, TH14

raul, one of the most faithful and underrated forwards. #1 champions league goal scorer, and #1 in appearances. lead madrid to countless la liga and champions league titles. still proves to be one of the best.

roberto carlos, definitely the best defender of my time. sure, he fell off, but who doesn't. his hit and hope style of freekicks brought magic to the eye, and i think he re defined how a left back should push forward and attack. now we see it through players like evra, clichey, cole. i think carlos started it for them.

David Beckham was probably the first soccer player I knew, and I started to watch him and that's when I really started following soccer. Believe it or not, but Ronaldo9 is one of them too. I watched him and Brazil in the WC02 and was just shocked with their style of play, it was so interesting. I was still growing up and didn't know much about soccer. CR7 and Rooney are obviously my favourite players to watch and look up to.

:)

I'm back.
