im with TF on this one... i never fs when im with friends, i think thats just too obsessed... i freestyle on my own when im bored (or at meets), but the rest of my life has to be social or fun in other ways...

as much as i love freestyle its just a hobby, not my life =)

same here maaca
To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail.
You can't know where you're going without good goals.
It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules

since im taking a year off after finishin high school i can do w. e . i want so i freestyle often. my parents are tellng me to go to skool and quit that shit, even though im taking a YEAR off. i freestyle on a bussy intersection so when ppl see me the usual questions are "do  u play for a club" , or " do u know this guys at kennedy & eglinton" meaning avalos who lives close to me and freestyles even closer. friends dont really mind 1 or another might say that i belong in a circus, or im still beter than u at regular soccer. im like ok  u do that

Some of my friends like it but others see it as pointless and sometimes mock it as a sport, etc.  :cursing:

My Family generally like it although my dad does not take much interest unless its something very creative

My dad at first said it was a waste of time and said i was wasting time and energy.
it wasnt until i came out on tv and had my first lp that he came around
now hes cool with it, although it took a while
my friends say im the master and could do everything, wich i can cuz the consider everything gay little flick ups and simple stuff, they dont know about difficult stuff like nts and shit

my friends support me and always tell to me good things because they know that freestyle is seperated from footbal,  .My parents dont care much, someties dad asks"how it goes"and I dont got problems with random football maniacs, beacuse I always play alone, ahmmm sometimes random old good granny say"ooooo its cold better go back to home" but its not connected with freestyle, though.

Many of you guys are really lucky, having your friends pay attention to your freestyle, and your parents to support you. I am, on the other hand, not so. The other thing my parents tell me about FS is that :" Don't do that more than 45 min -1 h each day because you gotta do good at school" although I've never do bad at school in my whole schooling career.
When you are performing and people go watch you, that's a great thing. But people here in Washington don't really gives a sh!t about it. When I went to Seattle to perform and did several lps there, nobody even care to watch. Even sole juggles and a half minute upper combo couldn't impress them.
In several words: You guys are better compared to me in terms of support.

:nopity: :nopity: :nopity: :nopity: Poor you, I have quite good support, but I quite suck at freestyle, I'm just lucky

They just think I like practicing tricks I see on the internet soemtimes. And they have no problem with that. I guess if I did it everyday, they would have other thoughts about it ... Unless I earned money on it or something. Sad how almost everything's about money nowadays (not that I'm used to times when there wasn't).

My parents and friends support me, but acquaintances and teammates-not so much. Strangers love it, but are only really impressed when I do like a CO 360 or an Matw or Tatw. I told one of my teammates that I had a Youtube account with my freestyle on it, and he's like, "Bull shit!" :argue: :cursing: I still have yet to show him my channel, he's going to be really surprised!
