He's a legend, stop say you hating on him. I hope he will do well.

Brilliant footballer no doubt, but when he uses his hand to score against us, which knocked us out and then numerously claim that he didn't you can see from our/my point of view hate towards him, not to mention he took drugs and is a little fat sh*t.
That had to be his finest hour. Even tho I hate the bastard. It was the best thing hes done.

That goal didn't knock you out; I think it was the other one. Or, as some call it, the greatest goal ever

I love maradona my favourite player of all time, TW89 you are the typical english fan blaming our loss on something else other than we are'nt good enough.

Also that was in 86, you weren't even alive, so why do you care?

On topic lol, Diego will make a bad coach i think.

I can see why English people would hate him. I think the rest of us, however, look at that incident and find it quite funny and cheeky. I give him credit for being able to pull it off. I can understand your anger though.

Well i'm glad you can understand.

But it doesnt suprise that you find it funny. To me that is straight cheating and you shouldnt be playing a sport if you cheat, it goes against the whole point of the game.

You give him credit to pull it off? I have to laugh at that, I mean what would you americans know about drugs and cheating in sport.
 Oh wait...

It's straight cheatin though Mac, even if they were better that doesnt  matter, cheating is cheating. So what if a teams better we should let them cheat anyway because they're better?

And jus because i wasnt alive doesnt mean I should be like oh well doesnt concern me.

dude, there has been many cheats in history, learn to let go! This shit was over 20 years ago! Alot has happened since then, appreciate his footballing talent!

And i dont see how you can be so annoyed or dislike someone because of something happened when you werent alive, fair enough if you watched the game live and wanted england to win then i suppose you could still be angry about it (if you're gay.).

fair enough i understand that ur not happy about the "cheating"factor in it all but seriously, if an England player did the same thing you'd praise him.
Not only that but it wasn't Maradona's decision to give the goal. He went for it and the ref didnt call it back so u should really be mad at the ref for not calling it.
Same like if a player scores from inside the 6 yard box and the ref doesnt call it. Dont be mad at the the player, he just probably got like 20,000 for that one goal. Blame the ref

Yeah he was talented so why spoil it by doing something like that? Loadsa people will have lost respect for him doing that.
So because I wasn't alive during the WWs that means that I shouldn't dislike Hitler???

You don't know me, who are you to say that I'd praise an English player if he did the same? I wouldn't.
Don't just blame the ref, DM knew that what he was doing was cheating you can't blame the ref, he didn't make him do it lol.

So by that logic, if I come up to you in a match knock you out, but the ref nor any official sees thus nothing happens to me disciplinarary wise, it's the refs fault not mine? Come on.
