also no fatalities!

Anyway owen i would recommend trying out these different consoles at your friends house. Imo the 360 is the best console if you only want it for gaming but if your really interested in technology then i would pick the ps3 because of the blu-ray and the internet explorer but the wii really doesnt have much to offer the online play isnt that good from what i heard the graphics are much poorer its only good for someone who would use it for friends at a party. but i guess you cant knock it intill you've tried it.
The ps3 online gameplay doesnt hav the same feel as the 360s online play plus the 360 are releasing a new update when you can chat to 4 people at once privatly when previously it was only a 1 to 1 private chat. and apperently you can now see what games people are playing like whats on there screen, theres also msn on it but tbh i think its pointless and i never use it but usb keyboards work for it and the PS3 internet explorer.
There wont be much Exclusives like there used to be besides for the obvious Gran turismo, Mario, Halo, Gears of war and Metal gear solid. Since the costs of games costs a lot more so they have to release them on all new consoles. So you can play Final fantasy, Street fighter or Resident evil or what ever you prefer on all of the "Next-gen" consoles Crash bandicoot is even available for the 360 but all the new Crash games are complete shite.
Price wise i would go for the 360 Elite since its more reliable than the original 360 and has a bigger hard-drive and built in hdmi and is near enough the same price, although the wii is cheaper the games are cheaper but arent that good. Not sure about prices of the PS3 are in NM these days but there sales are catching the 360s at a quick rate. Definetly stick to the 360 Elite if your friends all have one.
