elitestriker....Beckham sure as hell DID NOT lead Real Madrid to the title. Did he help and support the effort? Well of course he played on the team (not a first team starter btw) but he wasnt their talisman that year

Elitestriker is definitely more right than TW89 in this case. Beckham is not the guy you described in your post TW. Seriously, you hate him for the wrong reasons. He's a good guy that tried hard. Just because he has the Hollywood look, a hot wife, and lots of money doesn't mean he hasn't worked hard on the field to earn that.

When this guy was shipped off to the MLS I was like good riddance once and for all. Milan don't need him they got Pirlo who can deliver the ball with more preciseness and venom than Beckham can. Plus Pirlo never fell off.
