Kanoute 2007 African Footballer of the year

Frederic Kanoute won the 2007 African Footballer of the Year award on Friday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced.

Do you argree that he deserve to win the award ahead of drogba?

Was it last season that Drogba had that great year or was that 2 years ago?

Kanoute has been great in Spain but if Drogba has his great season in 2006/2007, then he should've won it.

Drogba was last seasons he was robbed by Eto'o so many times. I'm always for new blood Kanoute deserved it. Hope Essien wins it next.

i think he deserved it he helped sevilla in la liga and in the champs league. and he took mali to the african cup of nations

drogba did the same thing.drogba has been rob of everything.he should have won the epl player of the year, and should have been a shoe in  for the African player of the year.Kanoute has had a great season but i just reckon drogba last season was only second to kaka.still cant believe he was not even in the top 3 of the euro and world player of the year.drogba was on fire in all forms of the game, just look at his goals there spread out in all different competition.he basically gave Chelsea the Silva ware last year and kept close to the title chase.he also help Chelsea in the champions league.

Kanoute deserves it he lead Seville to the Uefa Cup and Kings Cup(Del Rey) victories and now because of him they are in the UCL
